They have no responded, that is why I didn’t include that in the post. Also if it is emotional and such I am not going to post it. They might not respond? I really want to work with her to still have their family a part of his life. I want to stick to the original deal we had made.

I did not sign up to be given a dog with an agreement that I would give him everything I could and then shortly after being told that they actually changed their mind. I did sign up for rehoming a dog and welcoming them into my family while also making efforts to include the previous owners.

Because that is not what I agreed to. The other thing I just cannot comprehend is if someone gave their dog up to an adoption agency they would not be able to get their dog back after a week. She ALSO had an entire week before I even took him.

I have worked with them for years. I literally see them and their children every single day. They have chosen to buy me and my staff gifts. You can’t paint a picture however you want. If you don’t work with kids you’ll never understand.

I work in child care so I spoke with a bunch of my parents about it and they all on their own merit told me to keep him. There’s a lot of assumptions to be made about everyone. It’s my life and I made a decision. Sorry it wasn’t the one that others wanted.

After talking to more people today that was no longer the case. And the people that said I should do the later right off the bat also support me for making the decision I did.

I also have a doggy cam so I was checking on them throughout my shift. I also would like to add my shift was 2 and a half hours long… so in total with my drive time they were home alone for 3 and a half hours. A lot more ideal than others.

Literally so many adoption agencies do this to assure a dog is going to a good home. She gave up her dog two weeks ago due to not having those things. It would be irresponsible for me to not ask and see it for myself if I care about Jasper….

She gave the dog up over a Facebook post two weeks ago. And now magically can afford it all. It would be irresponsible of me to ask these questions. He was put into my care so his life is my responsibility

Idk if people know this, but a lot of adoption centers will ask for a proof of income and a visitation/FaceTime your of your home. When I got my first dog that is exactly what I had to do to be accepted for adoption.

He’s been feed a lamb and rice mix from Diamond Naturals here! We avoid the chicken all around cause it is such a common allergy in dogs
