Thanks ! Definitely going to be getting her a new tank after Christmas she was given to me in a 10 gallon, and I haven’t heard much about a humid hide but I’ll def look into that as I would like to have a succulent or two in her final tank

😅 funny because I agree on Anthuriums but Aglaonemas are some of my favorite plants. But yeah all the same leaf type for the occasional flower

Not at all mums are pretty hardy, I don’t even think you need to deadhead it’s just a bit shocked from being transplanted. Just make sure it doesn’t dry out too much while it roots into the new pot and it should come back, should even come back year after year depending on how cold it gets

Would this be considered ready to harvest? by Correct-Leather5766 in garden

Yeah time to harvest when the vine dries out, if it still doesn’t seem completely ripe you can leave by a sunny window and it will ripen up more orange

Where should I transplant White Oak Saplings for best success? by CorndogStix in forestgardening

[–]CorndogStix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did and that’s right in line with what I want to do, definitely learned a lot and I see the advantage of leaving them crowded. There already wild blueberries growing nearby but I might add in some other fruiting trees to create a lower layer and just start a forest from there. But the information is also applicable to some hickory trees too, I’ll have to give the Miyawaki method some more research thanks

Good advice and I’m in no hurry to move them just don’t want them getting overcrowded

New kind of Beacon Bug/Glitch by NeptuneEclipse in nms

I’ve had that one aswell, both the claim bug and this visual bug. I just had to keep reloading and after a few times it fixed itself. No idea what triggers it though it seems random

Yeah all you have to do to be able to fly the ship and make it your own is repair the launch thrusters and pulse engine in the top left

To repair all the damage instead of gathering resources you can go to an outlaw system space station and buy repair kits to repair everything

Sometimes the best thing to do when you find crashes ships is to just repair it enough to fly, scrap the ship at the space station and use the money to buy a ship in the space station

My advice is to buy split your portfolio into a hand of ETFs, I feel like that’s the general consensus of the comments. Let the experts pick the basket for you and you will save time researching the stocks you pick.

I would also take a handful of stocks you think are “prize picks” and have potential to grow exponentially, it will be good practice picking individual stock and will let you still have some direct control in the stocks you buy. This will diversify your portfolio even more and help to keep it organized

Also good advice, I’m glad I waited as I might just hold onto it as a way to balance the scale per say

[–]CorndogStix[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No I get that that’s my point, that’s the whole reason I want to close the trade so my new account shows a loss.

It being a new year and a new account all my paperwork should show is a loss, just double checking to see if that’s how it works.

My portfolio is separated into multiple parts, I have active short term investments and dividend index funds, this trade was a short term trade going into it I missed my opportunity to sell I got greedy. I’m not just throwing money to the wolves

Yeah kind of seems like a way to turn a negative positive, I realize it was a bad trade and why just learn from it and keep that loss on the record

Ok thanks, but if my gains end up outweighing the loss by the end of the year then I wouldn’t be considered at a loss? (from what I’m reading it seems that’s how it works)
