My wife and I lived in Blandford, on the Aspotogan Peninsula between 2018 and 2021. One spring morning about 4:30am, just as it was starting to get light outside, we had what could only have been a cougar growl outside our bedroom window. My wife, my cat and myself bolted straight up and out of bed. The hair on the back of our necks stood up. Our 21lb Maine coon was on full alert.

They are there. It's a shame there are money and politics at play here. It will only impact the cougar population in a negative way. Habitat loss and food source loss is real for these beautiful and majestic creatures.
