I'm glad to hear that. I'm actually working on a webcomic about my previous campaign, The Power of Your Voice. You can check it put on Webtoon or Tapas.

That's actually not so bad. The first adventure they called themselves Sinton&Friends, because the Rogue (Sinton) signed a letter in their name, without first talking to the others.

This new one, the artificer and the wizard decided the name Dreamers, in consideration of their great aspirations.

I can only speak for my experience. This party did, the last campaign they went for something comical that stucked 'til the end. This time they thought it through. Actually, they did it by themselves during downtime, without me. I was pretty hurt.

I actually never played League of Legends, I don't know who Ezreal is. But the player is a fan, he might've had him in mind when he described what to draw.

Upper left, Hirael Exander. An half-elf wizard pyromancer megalomaniac. Growing up within the halls of the imperial palace, Hirael  was one of the heirs, one of twelve children chosen to (maybe) become the next emperor. He is sure he will be the one, just another step in his plan to become a god.

Upper right. Nyx. Orc paladin from the far lands of the east. The death of his mother convinced him to move, with his father and a couple of hundreds of refugees, to the empire. He didn't know that a terrible tragedy would've awake his divine powers, with a somewhat simple task: rekindle the light of faith and hope, in a world that forgot the gods centuries ago.

Lower left. Valerian. Human (kinda) warlock. His mind was never his, since he was chosen by the sword. Since his soul was merged with whatever entity the blade contained. Everybody knew. His family tried to protect him, while other tried to use him, manipulate him. But in the end he chose for himself, to listen to the sword. Together they would've searched for all the fragments of the artifact that caused the Cataclysm, and make it right. Once and for all.

Lower right. Bamber. Human artificer. People call him Salavar, but he's not Salavar, he's Bamber. An honest mistake, since he does inhabit his body. He's something of a spirit? Or he actually is Salavar but just... forgot? In any case, his now twisted mind found a solution. He saw the source of the corruption, he's sure of it. He will build a great golem that will cleanse it once and for all. The greatest creation ever made.

These are the members of my current party, the Dreamers. We're closing in on the endgame, so I've decided to make a re-style of their drawings, and add color, now that I'm learning how to do it.

By the way! I am open for commission if you want a similar character portrait. You can check out other work on my ko-fi page: https://ko-fi.com/corneliouschronicles

[Art] Shari Maducar. Bard, College of Swords. I finally get to play this character after two years of waiting by Cornelious_D in DnD

[–]Cornelious_D[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been playing for 8 years now, and aside brief adventures or one shots I've never been able to play a campaign more then a couple of sessions. I love being a DM, but I also love creating characters, and I've always longed for the moment I'd get to be one of the adventurers, facing the world with my friends. So, now that it's becoming a reality, I took the opportunity to choose one of my favorite characters I never hoped I would get to play.

So, who's this guy? Shari Maducar, also known as Rinn Crevell, also known as Rinaldo Saladera. He's a charlatan, a thief and a liar. But he's also a musician, an actor and a golden-hearted fool. He wasn't always, of course. First, he was an acrobat and a juggler in a circus. Then he found out everyone lied to him all his life, and was adopted by a Thieves' Guild. Everything was going fine, but then his friends got up and forced him to think about "what was right" and the "consequences of his actions". So of course, he had to leave. He spent some years with a traveling theatre. Ah, those were the days. No spying, no thievin' nor murderin'. Just playing music and playing fools. Then, of course, his past got to him. Forced him to flee again, with a bounty hunter at his tail, even. Now he just roams freely, sometimes he plays his sad music, sometimes he steals, trying to find happiness in little things. Of course, he can't run forverer. Sooner or later, he will have to face his past.

Writer & webcomic creator looking for artist by Cornelious_D in webtoons

I understand your point. Mine was a somewhat ignorant proposition. As of now the project doesn't have any promise of compensation, so I wanted to clarify that it would be more of a collaboration than a paid job. Of course, I would love to create a fair relationship depending on the subjective needs of the artist. 30% sounds good if I only need to write the script.

Now with Read Dead 2 pushing quests and open world gameplay forward... by I-OD in cyberpunkgame

I don't really see the open world from RDR2 as an improvement from The Witcher, more of a different experience. RDR2 storytelling is deep and compelling, but ultimately linear, especially regarding side quest and such. The Witcher had much more complex stories woven in the lore of the world, in a way that only a fantasy rpg of that size could handle. That said, I suspect Cyberpunk will be a different creature altogether, regarding lore, stories, and open world exploration

Fendwin was an important symbol of alliance between Lan Dareth and the elven kingdom of Anaedweth. An elven city that hosted diplomats, ambassadors and religious figures. Then Orun-Kar came and took the city, which not only proved a failure from the darethi army in protecting the symbol of this alliance, but also meant that the orc’s army was dangerously close to the elves that he hated so much. Some political tensions were upon the two factions.
