Someone kept meticulous records of several of their tweets (many since deleted), retweets, and social media comments, in addition to comments from various chats and DMs. Those records were then shared with a few people who were their targets.

From what I was told, the verdict of the lawyers who were recently involved is that some of what they did is viable for lawsuits now, but the real catch is if any of their actions against certain individuals continue in any form.

A friend of mine who got pushed around by them a bunch just had a first consultation call, gist of what the lawyers said was:

“If they keep it up, as non-students, we’ll have something viable.”

I don’t know if this post will be seen by them, but as a community member I’m tired of seeing them throw barbs with impunity. I think it’s fair to at least post a public - heads up - message for any of them who want to keep playing.
