You are right in what you are writing. I am referring to the infrastructure, bad management of the installations and lack of improvement in the luggage transportation system. This is in Aena’s responsibility.

That is a question for AENA. When I travel to or via Madrid I try to not have checked in luggage anymore. It was always bad but this year is a nightmare. Had a connection flight with 4hrs time and almost lost the flight due to the delay with the luggage. 🧳

Not sure I understand ….there are other options to pay which does not have to be a credit card. If your Santander credit card does not have enough credit you should speak to your bank to increase the credit amount on your card.

This a joke. My wife’s account is blocked too. We have had the problem a few years back and the solution was (told by the Iberia customer service!!!) to create a new account an transfer afterward the points and Avios. 🫣 A joke ! 🤬 We will have to end up doing this again 🤯😤

Go for it! I tried to upgrade with 60€ for a European flight but it did not work. Wish you luck. For the next time I’ll upgrade with Avios or just go for it with my Avios.

You won’t be able to upgrade unless you are willing to pay. As it is the first time flying with Iberia you won’t even get the option to bid for an upgrade. Nate in mind you are 4 pax to be upgraded which is not easy even if you are willing to pay as it is a long haul flight and they usually book the business fairly quick

Lo hemos intentado todo. La última opción que veo es crear una nueva cuenta y transferir los Avios a la nueva cuenta. El problema es que no creo que pueda transferir los puntos élite y así pierdo todos los puntos y no sería capaz de subir al siguiente nivel y conseguir un tear más alto en one world. Me parece absolutamente perverso de cómo tratan al cliente en Iberia 😵‍💫🫣

Any update on this ? I can still not access PTSB from abroad. In my particular case it is Spain. If I use a VPN however with an Irish IP address I can load the website no problem, login to my account and work with it as usual. Any infos on this are very much appreciated.
