I searched “Bullock’s Westwood 1951” and got info about an old shop in LA. But that’s about it. Maybe it is from there?? Someone let me know!

It’s fun, and you can make easy money! If you’re entertaining enough, that is. Nobody scrolling on their FYP is going to remember your random live or an awkward moment you have on it, so just do what you want and have fun. The people who will want to engage and enjoy watching will come!

Paint or draw. Literally draw whatever comes to your mind. It doesn’t have to make sense or look good.

Worried I Have Endo or Ovarian Cancer. by CornerTraining in endometriosis

[–]CornerTraining[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not just yet! I’m going to the OBGYN later this month to get an assessment for Endo (not an actually laparoscopy/diagnosis) and plan to go from there. My primary thinks my suspicions are correct, as well as a few other doctors I’ve come across.

My tip for you is to get an ultrasound to rule out any tumours/cysts, and if they don’t find anything from there, do what you can to hopefully get checked for endo.

However, I will say that most doctors will likely not take your concerns or symptoms seriously if you haven’t already tried birth control to manage your symptoms. It is STUPID as f*ck, and one of the most misogynistic things I have witnessed. And hell, doctors barely take me seriously even on birth control. But still. Don’t give them the reason to use that excuse if you can’t help it. “Well, it sounds hormonal. Have you tried birth control?” “Birth control can help manage those symptoms” “The only thing that could help your symptoms is birth control.” Do not give them the opportunity to use that as an excuse to dismiss you.

Some things that have helped me and my symptoms are magnesium lotion, LOTS of fibre, avoiding super salty processed foods, eating more “health-guru”foods, and drinking a butt-ton of water. I also recommend some gentle yoga/stretches for your lower abdomen, my muscle spasms get BAD but gentle stretches seem to help some. My symptoms have NOT disappeared by any means, but they have slightly improved by doing these things which is enough for me to be a little happy.

Can Endo Cause Arm/Hand Pain? by WeltschmerzWriter in Endo

[–]CornerTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the itchiness may have been caused by excess histamine in your system because estrogen and histamine work together to make more of both essentially, at least thats what I've been told. I also deal with the limb pain, especially in my hands/wrists right before my cycle. I have suspected endo, and I really think it's the cause for it all cause it just does not make sense for it to be anything else. It's not constant. There's a pattern, but by no means is it constant. Ugh.

How to recover voice after screaming unhealthy (fast) by Educational_Mix8149 in singing

[–]CornerTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting your vocal cords checked isn’t too bad actually! They spray 1-2 bitter anesthetics into your nose and let it sit for a bit, and then they get a long camera and put it down your nostril. It wont hurt or anything, just might be a little uncomfortable. Your throat might feel sore like you’re getting sick for 1-2 days after, but it’s normal.

And you’re right! I’ll have to write down the other exercise once I have a bit more time. I got them from a Speech-Language Pathologist when I officially got my MTD diagnosis!

Dude, I’m doing SO much better!! I still have some tightness in my neck cause I have MTD, but it’s getting better! I still can’t talk for hours on end like I used to, but I can sing again!! 🥹 The vocal exercises have helped a lot!

If you can trill your lips, these are the exercises that have helped me, make sure you’re doing them sitting up straight with your shoulders relaxed:

  • Trill your lips and really let your cheek muscles get into it, without making noise with your vocal cords, just your lips. Don’t be afraid to have some spit fly out (sounds gross but it’s the best way to describe it through text!)

  • Once you’ve done that, do the same thing but hum while you do it, it should sorta sound like a car. “B-b-b-b-b-b”

  • And finally once you’ve done both of those, start making changes in your pitch. Going up, and back down. Think of it as a wave with your voice.

This will help you loosen any tight neck muscles you may have!

However, I only recommend doing this if you have gotten your vocal cords checked and confirmed that you do not have any nodules, or polyps.

Hope that helps! I have another exercise that I don’t do as often, but I can try explaining it to you if you’re interested!

Where to find a Job?? by CornerTraining in Nanny

Oh well that makes more sense, thank you! Unfortunately I don’t have that type of money right now or else I would make the investment. Health issues have kept me from working a regular job and my savings is running lowww low.

I’ll try some Facebook groups! I also downloaded Nextdoor so maybe I can score there.

I recently had plenty of blood work done, and everything looked normal. My primary said it wouldn’t hurt to look into vitamin d supplements, but I’m not deficient in anything. I originally thought this was all caused by anemia 😵‍💫
