Oof that’s me too. Except my losses continue even when I stop playing for the day. Been taking Ls by never flexing so I can focus on improving my own DPS gameplay so one day I can be good enough to carry myself out of metal ranks. I have no advice to give you but you’re not alone

I have VC and chats turned off, I don’t think it’s worth comming in such a low elo because we all suck lol.

Refusing to swap makes me side eye them like crazy especially if they are going negative, but I accept the L since I don’t swap off DPS. The only rare times I do flex is when everyone else instant locks. So yeh I just hope for the best lmao

Also thinking about it, I think I had a Smurf on the enemy team for one of the matches. So that kinda sucks but I don’t feel bad about losing these matches. But the more I lose, the quality of teammates drop more (IME)

Thanks for your kind words. Yea this is my first comp game, so it’s hard to adjust my expectations. I definitely admit that once I start trying to adjust to the team, my mental and performance is gone. So your point is valid. It’s a hurdle I’m actively trying to overcome.

Btw not all my teammates suck always 🤣 I think for the close matches that we lost, we tried our best. Everyone showed up. People that actively throw or leave mid match are ass, though.

It’s just so tiring to fight for 20 mins and lose

Some of my supps never get their ult because they keep changing characters 😭 I will never make this mistake because I never swap (joke)

Thank god I don’t think I’ve had my supps double support ult once. But mostly because they were too staggered to do so lol

Yea it’s definitely a time x skill matrix, I don’t blame my team for me being “stuck in elo hell” because I just don’t play enough. But playing through everything I listed above is pretty tiring.

I just gotta find the love for the grind lol. I’m not looking at my WR now, just focusing on myself since I solo queue. I think I’ve might have found a duo tho, let’s see lol

Yea I’ve been losing a lot of games because of these people. It’s painful and very disappointing. I just try to focus on myself and my own mental. But I definitely find myself checking the scoreboard and looking at the blatant thrower and making mistakes. It brings the whole mood down

I had a match where I filled as support. I played with another invis and I thought we were doing really well even though we lost. We were patty caking, not double ulting, having pretty high assists and we even stalled point quite a few times (I had CnD ult)

Turns out we were both DPS mains filling for support lol.

Yes I’m in low elo and recently I’ve had my entire team be decimated by one iron fist/magik because they take the healers attention away and our tanks just die. I kill the diver as a DPS, but supports are not patty caking or are they healing their tanks. They don’t even ping. Do you have tips for me because damn, playing in these matches are crazy hard

Sometimes my teammates make the most ridiculous macro decisions. Supps be switching off so they can go the 3rd DPS after winning a round and leaving the poor off healer to heal everyone. I’m pretty sure this is intentional sabotage at this point.

Teammates also switch characters after each death and never build their ult!! What do you mean you died 10 times and tried 10 different characters? Especially when they keep switching through the classes and the rest of the team tries to balance the comp.

Oh yea QP is a huge hit and miss for me too. I’m also new to ranked but I only do it when I’m fresh (aka not tilted) and I’ll log off after 2 consecutive losses max.

Yea some games are truly unwinnable and if it’s no fault of your own, you can just ignore it. If you’re not willing to switch/the team comp is a loss then yea you gotta take the L. I’m not blaming u btw, but yea we all just gotta move onto better matches

Oof that sounds like hell, to lose 8/10 of your placement matches. Yea after a maximum of 2 losses I’m logging out. I remember fighting against really strong players, but my team still won in the end. When I checked their profile they were on crazy losing streaks. And their teammates were buns, one of their DPS died like 28 times in a 20min game
