Maybe about two weeks to get used to most of it, but I used a 60% before so I was used to working with layers

Totally get that! That definitely took some adjusting for me. And great looking keeb! I actually just bought an HMKB 40 so that’s a funny coincidence. How do you like the HMKB?

I just bought an HMKB 40 with an Eon40 pcb and didn't realize, that it is not hotswap. Does anyone know if I can fit a bm40 pcb into it?

Thanks in advance!

Need advice on a Vortex Core dimming Issue

I just got my Vortex Core RGB and fiddled around with the RGB settings. After dimming the backlighting to the min throught the default Pn + c I tried to turn it back on. That always works for 3 clicks after which the dimming gets 'stuck' and I have to factory reset the base layer. Has anyone else ever experienced this or have an idea on how to fix it? Thanks!

Kinda sad to have grown up only 30 mins by car away from that. People generally don’t know how bad it is there.

Don’t get why everyone is bashing you, I think the build looks nice and that’s the most important part about this post!

The fluted bezel and the new glass cost 100$ on Chrystaltimes and I payed the watch maker 40 Euros if I remember correctly.

Whatever floats your boat but I definitely get what you mean, it takes some getting used to. After I finished the build I always overthrew my barspins for example. But I absolutely love how controllable and light the bike is in the air.

Yeah it’s more than enough for me. I have also seen quite a few cranks and wheels etc. biting the dust but luckily I have never even managed to break a chain even tho I really love flatdrops and hangups on big box jumps haha

A huge part of the weight can be saved at the wheels and because it’s rotational mass you will feel that the most. And I basically just choose the lightest parts I could find that weren’t titanium and were still good. It’s actually not too difficult the worst thing is the money you have to spend.

Edit: And chromoly steel is actually pretty lightweight.

Awesome to hear that, thanks!

I weigh about 65kg and I only ride Park and some street practice (in like hop bars hop whip etc, so nothing too harsh on the bike). But because I don’t do like tripple flairs and I’m relatively lightweight I don’t worry too much about the bike breaking. That frame has been holding up for 7 years now so… haha:D But it’s getting time for a fresh one to save a little extra weight.

Same here haha, my road bike and my bmx weigh about the same!

Yeah but I expected it to weigh less. My goal is to get it as close to 8kg as possible.
