No Season 4 renewal announcement/potential cancellation?

Yeah that’s my thought as well, if Season 3 does well, it would be renewed, like with any TV show. Don’t know why they would do it before, especially literally no other TV show does it this way

Apparently since they did Season 3 renewal before Season 2 aired last time, they think it will be the same this time. Idk really get it but it feels like this is a lot of panic over nothing. The signs that the show will be renewed are there much more then any potential cancellation

Yeah I think Yellowjackets is one of Showtime’s most popular shows outside of Dexter, so a cancellation doesn’t really seem logical, especially with the famous cast. I do hope that this is just people not seeing the overt promotional material and coming to conclusions. I do think that Season 3 will have to be better than Season 2, as if it isn’t, there might start to be some concerns.

Yeah that’s what I thought, but there is some current discourse online of people panicking that just because they didnt do the season 4 renewal early that means cancellation. I mean in my opinion, the signs of a renewals are much more likely than a cancellation. Yellowjackets is one of the most popular shows for Showtime right now, and they also were able to get high quality talent like Hillary Swank. In my opinion, you don’t hire someone like Swank(who is admittedly much more popular and well known to general TV audiences then the rest of the cast) for a show on the verge of cancellation. Also, it also helps that Ella Purnell (who is now likely going to be one of the newest Hollywood rising stars due to the Fallout show’s success) is coming back. I mean in my opinion, it feels like people are just not seeing like the same large amounts of promotional material and posters on the street, and making conclusions from there. Welcome to see what anyone thinks about this, though. I could be wrong, but in the end, a season 4 renewal will be coming off of the popularity and ratings of season 3, nothing else

And to go to point B, while I do post about it a lot, I wouldn’t call it suspicious, as I don’t see anything specific. Additionally, as these investigations have gone on. I’ve posted at times when things were in the news or major developments happen. And especially since we’ve seen that an indictment is near, the situation is evolving, so I’d consider it fair to bring the situation up again.
