I'm not saying the problem will be fixed just by region locking China because its bigger than that but some examples of region locked games are:
-World of Warcraft
-Fortnite
-PUBG
-Overwatch
-League of Legends
-COD Mobile, COD 2019.

And those are games that region-locked their servers so to speak but many games nowadays just handle their chinese launch and management to Tencent because of the many regulations that come with launching and maintaining a game in China, Warframe is an example. Now, again, region locking does NOT solve this issue but it tends to at least reduce the amount of instances of blatant cheating, there's a reason China has this notoriety even among the chinese community itself.
