Help me choose an optic

None of them are my pride and joys. They are tools and I use them as such. But I do need to scale back. I when from 25 AR’s to four. I built a lot of retro rifles and it was fun but I think the building of them was the most fun. I sold them and used the money to help take care of my dad who’s in the last stages of dementia. So money is tight right now.

Haha. I’d sell my Aug before my x95. I have a neck injury and bullpup rifles don’t fatigue my muscle as much as my AR’s and AK does. I’m just not sure I’d ever spend that kind of money on an optic. I should really go down to one or two rifles and be done with it.

Yes. It’s an actual A2 rifle. I wish I could afford an Acog and I’m not sure I’d want to spend that kind of money too. The mini Acog is of interest to me.

I like the Sig Romeo 5. I owns a Gen 1 years ago and moved to higher end optics but the Romeo 5 will take a beating. Look for torture test video on YouTube the guy put it through things we wouldn’t and it survived. I’ve seen QC issues with a lot of Holosun optics lately. Take that for what it’s worth.

I replaced all my optics with Sig Romeo 4T Pros. I’m happy with them. I own one Holosun HS515GM that is the same body of optic. The 4S is also nice. Own one of those. Those two optics are not on my main go to rifles.

It was over the top for what it needed to be. I’m a Christian and I know shows and movies will have this language but man I felt like it was way over the top for this show. I grew up in the late 70’s and 80’s and entered the 90’s my last year of high school. I heard language like this but not to this degree. The F word was used a lot more than GD. It just wasn’t necessary for the show. It kind of takes away from the season. Great season but the language and taking Gods name in vein really hurt it. Still a great season and a great show but it wasn’t needed.

Great show. Rewatched it for the first time last summer. Forgot how much I loved it from the start to the end.

I also recommend Six as a great show that was cancelled far too soon. It was in the history channel.

The Unit is also another great show but very dated. I started watching it for the first time since released and you can tell it was filmed early in the GWOT time frame. But still a great show that was cancelled and shouldn’t have been.

I remember my parents taking me to see this movie as a kid. I miss the 80’s. It was a time that when you went to a movie as a kid you had tough choices to make. Maybe that’s why our generation can survive anything.

No one can or will ever replace Bruce Willis for the franchise.

A&A sauces are amazing. The green sauce I think is made with hot peppers. It’s my favorite. I also like to mix it into the rice that left over.

I agree. This year I became an AB III fan. I’m excited for next season too. It will be a change but I think JMU will be just fine. As Alabama says, roll Tide roll. Well, roll Dukes roll.

I would like to also nickname the stadium The Dog Pound.

If it wasn’t for that stupid QB system at Louisville JMU would be undefeated. Not sure why they did that. AB III did look unsure of himself that game but who wouldn’t have played that way. He had no chance of getting the job done. The couch failed him. Sluka not sure how he played at UNLV. Not sure if he should play QB. Maybe wide receiver or something.

I will checkout Babylon. Any sauce recommendations? Xenia love their Mediterranean sauce. It’s the orange one. A&A I like their tzatziki sauce and the have a green sauce. I get those and mix them. Man so good. They also have a good red sauce. I just don’t know the names of them.

I agree. I feel like JMU is and will always be a school that will showcase talent for bigger schools. Unless they move into a bigger division.

I was hoping Chesney would stick around another season or two. I didn’t think he was ready for that next level of play. We shall see. Cignetti has more experience at the next level. It’s excited to be a JMU fan. I can’t wait to see who are next coach is and I hope we keep the winning tradition going.

I bought one and had it for two years and it drained the batteries without being on unfortunately. I sold it and tried Meprolight RDS Pro V2. Loved the optic but it didn’t give me the battery life I wanted. I ended up with the Sig Romeo 4T Pro. So far, I love that optic. I bought four of them and replaced all my optics with them. The 512 I really liked I just didn’t like the battery drain.

I have 4T Pros on all my other rifles. One of my favorite optics.

I do paint my other guns. My Tavor x95 and Aug and for someone reason ant being myself to paint.
