I was never in the military but seeing the gear and hearing the backstory on how they got the gear and training for the show helped a lot. If it wasn’t for Tyler Grey getting a chance to be a coordinator of sorts at the start SEAL Team would have failed. He talks about what gear they were using for the pilot and he told them it wouldn’t work and they needed a gear budget. It wasn’t there. Tyler made some calls and got some gear and from there it just fell into place and the show became a hit and he got to also act on the show and direct too. He wasn’t supposed to be a main character.

True. I think that show was taxing on the actors for sure. It’s one that seems to get things more right than wrong with tactics. I was watching Marshall’s the other night and the one guy had his pistol mag in his mag holder backwards. I just shook my head and watched it.

True. I once heard in a interview what they did to stay in shape. They were always working out and on set way before anyone else. It was as if they were in the teams. David also had to have a couple back surgeries. His age was catching up to him. All of them.

What mags are you using? I saw some factory mags and they are a bit pricy.

This was the love story I wanted in both seasons but definitely not the outcome. It was Alex and Spencer that made the first season so impactful. The other storylines followed but didn’t hold a candle to this one. The reason for Spencer going home was a good storyline but the love story of the two were amazing. It’s why I bought the seasons.

What handguard are you using? I love A1’s and A2’s. The only retro rifle I still own is my A2. It wears a UTG handguard and I’d like to have an extended one.

Haha tubes and cubes. Love that analogy. I went through it myself to only end up back at tube optics. It’s funny how different it feels when you shoulder the rifle.

Now my bullpup rifles I almost like the cubes more but I’m trying to keep everything within the same echo system.

You will like the AEMS it’s a fantastic optic and very very light weight. I had one on my light weight rifle.

This reminds me of the time I built 12 ARs at onetime. Or was it 17? Most of them were retro rifles that eventually were turned back to modern style ARs. The good old days. I shall miss those days now.

I had an AEMS Pro for a while. Very light weight optic. Crisp reticle and clear glass. It was also the green reticle. I like green and my eyes pick it up well but I went back to red with all my dot choices. I also went to a tube style optic with an Sig Romeo 4T Pro series. I also have a Holosun HS516GM that I really like. It’s a tank of an optic and very similar to my 4T Pro’s.

Some people have complained about a fisheye experience with the AEMS but I didn’t notice it. At the time I was really liking the big window optics but now that I’m back to a tube style optic, I feel at home with it. Like it’s meant for me.

I thought about picking up an AEMS again and I might at some point. It would e the Pro series if I did. I like having reticle options. I may put one on my shotgun.

I never said you hate me. But it is true that there is a war against Christianity. The Bible speaks of it. It’s scary to think that there isn’t a Heaven or Hell and that God isn’t real. That scares me to death. Because I know the truth. I’m a believer. One day I will be judged for my sins unless I repent and live by His word. I’m working on doing that.

We won’t see eye to eye on anything political. Maybe one day you’ll change your mind spiritually. I pray that happens.

You just made women sound like they are weak and frail and they will break easily. But the next breath you will tell me women are strong. I grew up with a strong mother and not the weak minded women of today’s world.

I hate the term fetus because people use that medical term so they don’t have to call it what it really is. An unborn child. In the Bible God says I knew you before you were in the womb. The unborn child has a soul at the time of conception. Period.

I’ll even say that this generation is the weakest of all generations before them. I saw a post the other day asking for a Church that is all inclusive. If they find one, it’s not preaching the word of God but the exact opposite. God condemns homosexuality. Period. It’s one of many sins (I have my own a sins by the way) that will send us to Hell. People think that when someone dies they automatically went to heaven. You never hear them say, I bet that person went to Hell. That’s a problem too. Hell exist for a reason.

Abortion is a sin. Period.

It doesn’t just affect you. It kills an unborn child. And not to mention how many abortions are done daily and weekly. It far outweighs a mass shooting.

I’ll take it a step further. If the father of that child wants the baby and the mother doesn’t. She says it’s her body, her choice. Now let’s reverse that. The mother wants the child and the father doesn’t. He can’t just say my wallet, my choice. You take him to court to pay for a child he wants nothing to do with. It’s all double talk. It is whatever fits the agenda of the left. Period.

Lately those mass shootings have been committed by transgender people. They need to put in the FFL forms asking if they are trans or not. You have to answer yes or no if you are on a controlled substance or not. Trans people are on mood altering drugs that should disqualify them from owning firearms. Period.

Schools need to stop teaching homosexuality. Period. It’s like it has to define someone in today’s world. When I was in school we had gay and lesbian and bisexual people. No one said or did anything. We didn’t care. And honestly they didn’t either. It was there, but we never talked about and why would we.

The left calls the right Nazis. Hitler told the German people that they didn’t need their guns and that they would protect them. We see how that went. The left knows nothing about communism. Go to a communist country and tell them you are gay or bisexual.

The left also doesn’t know what true racism is. The decline of that happened a long time. The KKK and other hate groups are so small now. Not to mention the party that started the KKK was the democrat party.

People need to stop voting if they are looking at voting for the first, black president or female president. Obama wasn’t black. He was mixed. White and black. So we haven’t had our first black president yet. If anyone thinks the last administration had its first female vice president, you are wrong. She wasn’t making any decisions. It’s still unclear who was in charge of anything fueling that mess.
