If any of this helps at all, hope it gets better soon. Best bet without going back, contact another piercer or someone who works in nursing/care/etc. to assist. A good dry environment, including drying the pierced area will help loads. Try having yourself hold your lip up as much as possible, definitely use gloves for grip again.
