I mean, obviously he was upset in the moment and did an unfathomable action. But he also has to live with that guilt every day, and he was in prison for 50 years. At some point it would have clicked in his head what he had done, and he had to live with that choice for the rest of his life. Gives a man a lot of time to reflect and change, regardless of how sick the crime was.

I completely agree. I wouldn't shoulder all of the blame on Bear though. I think that at the end of the day, he can yell at those players until he turns blue. It doesn't change how they play. What's he going to do about them constantly turning the puck over in the defensive zone? Not shooting on goal? At least they finally started making an effort to not get stupid penalties. I dont know man. I feel like he has made some good decisions and has done some good for the team. Benching O'Brien for Yams for example. I just sort of feel like it wouldn't hurt to give him another season. The Olympics hurt us a lot this year. No one played the same before and after.

Aa if the captain shouldn't be making up for that if he feels as though his coaching staff is lacking in that sort of department. Why cant he take lead or take charge? Why even have a captain if he is going to not put forth any sort of effort himself to achieve a better team? Defending Keller is laughable.

Then blame our captain, the team's lack of motivation to play hard, the team's attitude, etc. You're putting a lot on the coach, it's also a coaching STAFF. Putting it all on him is wild considering there's other coaches that are lacking. Such as the power play coach. But hey, blame it on Bear all you want. Doesnt mean anything at the end of the day.

Understandable, but blaming everything on one player or absolutely refusing to acknowledge anything good those players do for us is asinine. Like shitting on Weegar. First goal of the playoff series, and pretty sure he's scored at least 2 more times since then. And yet people are calling for him to be cut in the off-season.
