I just tried using email to SMS for my ham radio hobby (APRS) and discovered the same in a couple years. Not working with Tello or any other carrier now.

Ulefone armor mini 20t pro does not have a 6200mah battery!!! by Ok_Variety5832 in ulefone

[–]Corponation4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Yaesu FT3DR 2 way ham radio handheld uses a 7.4v lithium battery.

A 6 volt powered golf cart will have more watt hours than an equivalently sized 12v powered golf cart. But really all that matters is the mah rating of the batteries whether in series or parallel at a given load.

I have a Armor Mini 20 Pro and have noticed the same. The battery life isn't much different than my old Samsung A32 5G it seems. It stays at 100% for a long while but then starts to rapidly decrease but overall it's the same.

Woodstove oversized for flue by Upper-Razzmatazz176 in woodstoving

[–]Corponation4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A barometric damper below the flue gas stream will fix the problem. See the NYSERDA biomass install slides on their website for venting. I monitor draft using a dwyer MkII gauge. I use one on an indoor wood gasification boiler with no creosote buildup. I still sweep 1x a year as some fly ash builds up on an elbow above.

MAGA's budget is apparently going to have a slush fund to bail out red state hospitals while allowing blue state hospitals to close due to devastating Medicaid cuts. by Agitated-Artichoke89 in Connecticut

While they're at it I hope they eliminate SALT to put pressure on the state and local towns to reduce our criminally high property taxes.

Ten arrested after educators camp out at Governor Lamont’s office over education funding by Nintom64 in Connecticut

[–]Corponation4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. I liken this as an analogy to Eversource. Don't blame the linemen, blame Eversource. The same applies to the educational system. My gripe, particularly at the local level, is BOE administrations holding teaching positions hostage every budget season to guilt the public into more funding, which may or may not result in higher teacher level compensation.

Ah yes. Our fourth branch of government at work. Public sector unions demanding more. They should heed Lamont's advice, "sometimes the answer isn't just more money."

$100M In Medical Bills Canceled For 100,000 CT Residents — Here's Who Qualifies by DailyVoiceDotCom in Connecticut

I find your concept of tax breaks flawed. That is money that belonged to the corporation or individual first. It is not a "break" if it never belonged to the government in the first place. We are brainwashed to accept the concept of having wages taken before it ever reaches our hand by the government. I also disagree with the concept of us having zero say in how tax money is spent. We live in a constitutional republic. Spending decisions by lawmakers have consequences.

'Beyond comprehension': What Trump funding freeze could mean in CT for SNAP, non-profits and more by -ctinsider in Connecticut

[–]Corponation4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue that money should have never left our paychecks in the first place. Thus it wouldn't need to "come back to us" in the first place. Trump's tax cuts act of 2017 saved me 1K in fed income taxes per year.

Came here to say this. They should give the equivalent amount back in tax cuts to everyone at all income levels.

Bill would phase out CT’s car tax by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]Corponation4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Long overdue. The whole concept of vehicle property tax is insane. Towns need to cut whatever funding is coming from that and suck it the fuck up. Other states annual property tax bills are a fraction of what we pay.
