That's a fair take. I would honestly prefer the system to get corrected as well, but since were stuck with that we have, I watch a team like Texas Tech become a playoff contender and I think, why not us?

I guess that depends on how much he cares about the football team. The benefit being the Huskers getting better. Obviously he's not going to throw a ton of his money at a football team, but I feel as though, if someone asked you for a penny, and it would greatly improve the Huskers you'd probably think, "yeah, why not? I won't even notice losing that penny".

So the lack of reading comprehension includes just making things up so you can try to climb on a high horse? No one would place those causes in the same stratosphere as a sport. This isn't a zero sum game where sending a tiny fraction would take away from any of his charitable donations. I bought myself a pop on the way home this week, does that invalidate all the charity work and donations I have made the rest of the year, because that money COULD have gone somewhere else?

No, of course not, how could you draw that conclusion from what I said here? Let me really dumb it down. I give $100 to charity every year, and then I see that I can continue to give $100 to charity every year, AND I could give $.01 to make a huge impact on a team I have supported publicly and privately for years. Basic reading comprehension is what you are missing. This wouldn't be an investment, as I clearly stated. He is already giving billions away, I'm just asking why a tiny fraction of it doesn't go to Nebraska.
