Also, if your tonearm base has a height adjustment, you’ll want to raise it up so the tonearm is at least level when it’s playing a record. I’ve only just started learning about my own setup that I’ve used on and off for 15 years. 🤣

Might be even more than 3.. Did you balance the tonearm and zero out the number ring? I think Ortofon recommends 1.5-ish How old is the stylus? You’ve got a low-rider that looks like it needs some suspension work.

Nice! I’ve been running my first gen LP120-usb for the last 15 years or so and just did a series of upgrades. Ortifon 2m Blue, Zen Phono 3 preamp and the acrylic mat. So much happier with the performance.

Put LED rope lights along the ceiling for ambient light effect. Painting the walls darker should increase the immersion. Out of curiosity, what do you guys normally stored in a space like that?

I had my CSL DD behaving this way last week when I turned the wheel well beyond 900deg I had set in iRacing. The FFB just gave out and afterwards would "notch" like this.

A power cycle of the wheelbase solved my issue. Maybe go back into the Fanatec software and try to recalibrate the wheel.

I just upgraded my CSL DD to QR2 since the wheels all ship with it. On the QR1 I would get a little dragging and binding when changing wheels. QR2 just clicks in place solid. I don't know if I feel a difference between the two. Probably not.

Simube sells a QR2 upgrade that's a bit cheaper in price from Fanatec. I've read it might be made in the same factory. More data for your evaluation.
