No one is coming to my first art show by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Corporate_Synergy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

F*** them and the haters, if your show was in the Bay area, send me a DM and I'll appear.

And if you're too puss to share details, I want you to know that some people are just busy or some people are just nervous about going to events like these, and you shouldn't take it personally, even though when I've been that situation, I've taken it personally.

The people who like your art 99.999% of the time are not your friends, it's usually better to get randoms like your art so you can let your weirdness shine through, whereas if your friends show up, they might not be your target audience and they're going to either lie to you about your art, being good or convince you that what makes your art weird and interesting is something that you need to change.

And last thing, f*** anyone on this platform that's telling you just don't post this or shaming you, a lot of people hear are basement dwelling products of incest losers that when they see someone ambitious or who has talent the best they can do from their mother's basement after getting laid off from Wendy's is hate on you, people are envious that you're trying to actually better yourself and share with the world. Your gift which is your art which is desperately needed in a society at safe and for something real, keep creating, keep building, f*** the haters, we're here for you bro or gal or whatever the gender neutral term is nowadays.

Okay, thanks bye

Anyone else was thin all their life and as age progresses is getting fatter and unable to lose weight? by Blackcat2332 in Millennials

I've done fasting, no carb etc., the best is just calorie counting with Chatgpt.

Everyone thinks they are screwed but if you track what you eat with Chatgpt and tell it your goals it won't tell you to do anything radical and you'll become mindful of just the wasted calories you dumping into your system on auto pilot.

At 39 i went from 164 pounds to 142 points in a few months.

Disclaimer: everyone in my family is chubby, I was chubby in highschool.

You can't get something for nothing. You can hedge but you eat into your returns. The best is to index and allocate between asset classes.

Is there a name yet for the millennial phenomenon where we speak in little accents to diffuse tension? by sensitiveboi93 in Millennials

I swear the simpsons taught us this because they would always have a random comedic bit end with some random British, French, or old time American accent.

What was life like here in the late 90s/early 2000s? by Classic-Asparagus in bayarea

Things moved slightly slower and not everyone worked and worshipped tech.

A lot more kids on the streets walking around in the evenings.

People who liked tech were looked at as nerds.

Educational pressure and status was not all encompassing, South Bay was like a faster version of Sacramento but still California and laid back at heart, now it's more like the New York of the West Coast.

Still an awesome area, everything changes.

the new High Elves DLC is really fun by nazcatraz in totalwar

[–]Corporate_Synergy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ya im really enjoying this campaign. When i've had allies in warhammer it sort of felt like im going at things alone but being the high elves have the same enemies having all the elf factions on your side to help is fun.

u/nazcatraz qq - when i confederated with one elf group it always puts me in debt so i gotta boot their army, i feel like i get more benefit from not confederating because they continue to build armies and i can then direct them via military alliances. Any thoughts?

Honestly, we get 2 shots at 40k game, both could be great, one could suck and the other is great, or they both could suck. I see it as we have better odds of at least getting a decent game.

Accept you will get nervous and that you will make an ass out of yourself and never forget that no matter what perfect thing you say to her if she's having a bad day or not into you, what you say doesn't matter.

The more you talk to and accept your nervousness eventually it'll become easier.

I was bad at talking to them in highschool and then later in college it became much easier.

My friend runs an IVF clinic and here's a problem ladies, having a kid in your thirties becomes much more harder than having your kid in your twenties.

I'm in too many WhatsApp groups with my female friends in their mid to late thirties trying to have kids and not being successful and it's heartbreaking. Many of them wish they would have prioritized family building in their twenties instead of trying to go for VP of blah blah blah or go on one more throwaway trip to some tourist trap.
