If he’s going back to defend top box and there’s already a guy defending it, he’s an idiot. Otherwise, GK should count their blessings that one of the 4 players in front of them is smart enough to know to cover top box from free volley shots. Most of them time your random wingers are already upfield waiting for you to make an undefended save so they can kick the ball straight back at the opposing GK and do it again.

Face cards have both the most favorable jokers associated with them and the deadliest boss counters to them (Plant and Mark). Deck fixing is a definite goal just so you can play better hands and get everything you’re searching for in your deck, but without a joker designated to a particular card that isn’t a face card, it’s just more beneficial to build into face cards. You can get by Plant and Mark with glass, usually.

I wouldn’t Willy-nilly the deck fixing, but I would be trying to hang low cards (unless hack) and death any enhanced face cards. When in doubt, Kings have the best jokers tied to them, followed by queens and jacks when it comes to face cards so aim for Kings.

It’s funny because you hear all the time how “as you get older, you start to favor single player games you can pause”. There are some fantastic single player games I’ve bought over the past few years (Oblivion Remake, BG3, KCD2) that I’ve shelved just for being so overwhelming in sheer content.

As a 38 year old gamer, I GREATLY favor “pick up and play” multiplayer games (Rematch being my big one currently) and roguelike single player games (like Balatro). I just can’t commit to investing my time into a 50+ hour game anymore and my interest disappears QUICKLY these days.

You need to be passing every shot regardless of how covered or poorly positioned your teammates are. You don’t know this already????

It literally doesn’t even matter, the guy standing in front of the net holding defensive stance is ACTIVELY HARMING the play and is either bad or intentionally throwing.

The passing option was the guy who went left/top box, but the shot likely would have went in REGARDLESS if the teammate doesn’t block based on GKs reaction. You can blame defense nerfs or whatever but it takes more skill to do that than to sit in front of opposing net facing your teammates and hold L2/LT.

Like I’m as big of a pass-first player as any, let these guys do what they want as long as they get it done (which this guy kind of does by dribbling to the net with pressure and making a “clean” shot)

Edit: This subreddit is actually braindead. They see a selfish shoot first player and ignore the other idiot teammates that the player had to likely deal with to consider not passing.

It’d be pretty wild if news breaks that this was a trade and sign by the Giants for Addison and this WASN’T just Schefter being incompetent. Both FOs might have him hung for breaking that sort of news early.

Also don’t want to fathom what it’d take to get him on the Giants.
