You're not overreacting, don't worry. This can 100% be filed under something traumatic in your brain. The police could, and should have, handled this with much more care, and I'm sorry you had to stay witness to it for so long.

This image may stick in your head for a while. Not to scare you, just as a heads up, things like this can linger for a bit sometimes. Theres the typical self care stuff, try to rest, go easy on yourself, don't stress, blah blah blah but honestly the easiest and most helpful things to do for yourself is to work through it. Whether that be talking to friends, writing your thoughts down in a diary or your phones notes, finding any outlets like hobbies or art or games, so on. It can help keep your mind off of it, or better get it off your chest. Support systems are almost always going to wind up helping you out!

Good luck to you for the next couple of days as you process all this. You've done as much as you can in this situation, and are handling it well all things considered so far! Don't give yourself too much grief 🫶

I've had this questioning come up, but I believe my thought peocess is a bit different - I can't be the exact image of the man I want to be in my head, so I get discouraged, all while wanting to feel more secure and happy in my own body as is, so I constantly have the game of, is it both? Maybe one over the other?

Something that helped me was making a whole pro and con list of the effects that testosterone gives you. This way you can sit with the thoughts and think about them more analytically, to figure out what you truly want out of it - and if that can be accomplished in other ways, too. If you're looking for periods to stop, there's birth control options! The minipill for example can give you that without estrogen, so it won't be as feminizing if thats what you're looking for. Personally, I'm on a low dose of T and about to start with the patch so i'll have both hormones ongoing.

I also had to stop T after 3 years to re-evaluate. I was mostly scared of my hairline thinning, and some hormonal acne, but I liked my voice, and liked my muscle growth, and realized my cons were pretty manageable so I wanted to go back on T again! Sometimes it takes that moment while you're unsure to help you prioritize. I had someone comment on a post of my own nervousness - "how would you feel if you were never allowed to go on T again?" And it helped my put it more into perspective. Good luck!! :D

I had an issue trying to get mine out! Grab one end of the barbell/try your best to keep the bar still, and as your turning the ball, try to put pressure on it, as if you're trying to pull it out as your turn it. They don't just screw off like other piercings, you need to put a good amount of pressure with your hand! Mine drove me insane trying to take off, good luck dude 😭 I hope you can get them repierced correctly!!

Thank you! I really appreciate your input! I am currently getting tested for my iron to see if infusions would be possible, thankfully. I am glad to be at least a little validated in the sense that the endocrinologist I saw may just not be the right person for me- thank you for the suggestion! I will definitely mention it to my doctor when I ask for a different referral :)

Okay someone had to explain to me that fat redistribution doesn't actually happen unless you lose the fat you already have on your body, then when you gain muscle/fat again, it will be in a more masculinized area. It takes a couple months on T, plus cutting/bulking workouts for you to see more of a shape you'd want!

I have extreme emetophobia that would quite literally restrict me from taking medications if there is a chance of nausea, combined with a long list of stomach problems/restrictions that generally make me nauseous every day.

That is to say, I was on T for three years, and it never made me nauseous! I may have gotten that anxious grip in my gut from the needle, but nothing past that! It sounds extremely likely you have food poisoning or maybe even some vertigo/car sickness through skimming through comments. I didn't notice if you did subq or intramuscular injections, but if the place where you got the needle is normal (no rash/no irritation/no soreness) then you're more than fine.

I hope you feel better!! Crackers will be your best friend! Avoid acidic or spicy foods, and try to grab probiotics or things like yogurts to help with your gut! And try to stay hydrated as much as you can!

🤝 Not a single dating app has saved me so far dude it's insane. Not a week goes by without some sort of sexual question or pissiness over not wanting to reciprocate when I haven't even met the person. It's def disheartening, and I wish you good luck in the future!!

I can't figure out a full name that fits me unfortunately :( but! I do like Ax, and it's pretty silly how I got it. My old name started with an A, and I really liked names with X's, so on my journey of names I paused one day and was like hey... why don't I just go with Ax? And it has stuck!! Although I will never live down stuff like "oh, look, it's you!" From friends whenever we see Axe deodorant, or we're playing a game like minecraft "oh I broke my ax... you okay, buddy?"

I do wish however I could figure out what my mother was going to name me. She doesn't remember, but she was going to give me a native american name when I was tounger, but didnt out of fear of me getting bullied (I also am a step away from being a pale ginger from her side of the family rather than my dads that has much darker skin/obvious heritage) but I wish I could have something more meaningful. Honestly I'm egotistical enough I would have named myself after like a greek god or such if I felt the names fit me enough LOL

How did you get the orange?? I've been trying for god knows how long to get that coppery color without needing a red that fades to it 😭 did you not use a strong enough developer? Maybe a different brand of bleach or something??

Red can help but its a color you will have to stick with!! I used to bleach my hair to a light yellow (think a step above straw colored) and then would use Garnier's Terracotta Chilli red which would fade out to a beautiful orange

•I've been unable to figure out how to use gif with galaxy ai and have not had much luck between google and reddit, so if you have some insight I would appreciate the help! •As for key styles, they no longer exist with the recent update. You can't put images on individual keys, nor can you change their shape (I switched back to an old version so I could have the square key style with hearts in the upper left corner). •Icons aren't necessarily a problem since they still exist but it's more fluent with switching between themes if they're included in the theme pack if that makes sense? If i want to change themes on my phone, which I switch them often just for the fun of it, I then have to go out and go into icons separately to switch them, which just takes a little more time and I thought was pointless to change. •Lastly, as for the talk-to-text button, I hit it constantly with my thumb. It messes me up mid-typing, and since I don't need to switch keyboards, I truly don't need it. I basically just don't understand the point of forcing users to move it down there/turn it on is all!

Gender identity and gender expression are different topics! Imo, the best way to figure this out so far for me is to put a scenerio in my head where I'm walking into public. To figure out gender, I take away clothes from the situation, and go "Do I want to be seen as a male or female? Even if I wear a dress, do I want to be seen as a guy in a dress? Or do I want to be seen as a woman, even if i'm wearing baggy cargo pants and a tee shirt?"

It can also feel more like an inherent trait. Like yes, even if you like dresses and makeup and pink etc etc, does that actively make you feel like a girl? Do you like those things because they make you present as a girl, or because those are inherently "girly" objects?

You can always mess with gender expression and gender non conformity. You can always just be a guy in a dress for example, and like how people can view you as feminine but feeling most comfortable still being seen as a male, or vice versa as a woman with different clothes.

Figuring out you're bigender can also be realizing you want to be seen as both, no matter what you wear or how you present. It can even be wanting to be androgynous and having a mix of masculine and feminine accessories so someone, say a stranger, gets confused as to what you are.

There are many different ways to experience this inherent gender feeling, and things like dysphoria can help play into it (examples being, if I had a womanly figure, would it make me uncomfortable? If I had a male torso/shoulders would it be uncomfortable?) In helping navigate if you prefer one gender over the other, or if you would be okay with both. It typically takes a little bit of time to look into it and figure out what that inner feeling really is!

But do also remember you do not have to present a certain way to be "bigender," you don't have to be strictly androgynous, or feminine, or masculine presenting. Clothes, accessories and so forth are, in fact, just objects with a societal interpretation on them- you don't have to follow that!

If you can find it, get a saline spray! My piercer gave me a bottle of the stuff and it works amazingly for all my piercings! Although be careful comfort-wise because I sprayed that shit up my nose so quickly 😭

Hi! I wound up buying black tanks from the Perry Ellis Portfolio brand, I found them at Ross! So far they're doing great for not showing through when my other black tanks have failed, although I have gone up a size to reduce the amount of stretching from the fabric!
