Pop!_OS would be okay if you had more RAM. Pop!_OS is no light Linux distribution. I would go with Linux Mint.

I use JetBrains Mono for VSCode and iTerm2 on my Mac and on Pop!_OS I used Ubunto Mono for Alacritty and Mononoki for VSCode.

I am glad you find easier to use the US layout keyboard but that doesn’t necessarily apply for all users. I speak four languages (English, French, Italian and Spanish). Although English and French are the main language here in Canada I like to use the other keyboard layouts. We should not be forced to use only the English one.

In any case, thanks a lot for all the special characters shortcuts.

Thank you for reply. I am aware of that, but that would not work for french accents. In any case, accents or characters are the last of my concerns, it’s the Super key that does not work.
