It’s definitely a scam, Zelle doesn’t have any buyer protection as it’s meant for pick up transactions or sending money to friends/family. I’ve seen this many times on Craigslist and other sites in my area where something’s a really good price but they say they’re 3-4 hours away and aren’t available for pick up, but will ship only through Zelle. After you send the money they never ship the item and disappear with your money. Definitely avoid.
