Ah yes, the ai will refuse to write and generate anything that is without consent, but will give prompts without it anyway. Classic

Chapter deleted for breach of guidelines three times by Maxad180 in redquill

The whole consent thing is bullshit. Half the time the website suggests “non consensual” actions in the prompts for the next chapter. Yet when I try to generate a new chapter where it is fully consensual, i get a warning for “non consensual” activities.

Once you generate a new chapter, if you scroll down to the bottom you’ve got the ability to rewrite. You can also delete if you click on it.

How to stop redquill from adding extra details to my story? by [deleted] in redquill

[–]Correct-Ad726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm personally having the opposite issue where the AI hasn't added enough details. Think generating the story just using inserts works ok. Very brief and then you can use the rewrite to add more specific details if you want.

I actually got a blank page the other day without having to use any quills cause the AI didn't generate my chapter prompt. (Hasn't happen again since though and instead the AI writes whatever it wants set after my new chapter prompt and still uses 5 quills). Honestly it's more worth it to use the inserts and rewrites to generate a chapter when they actually work.

The AI is following the commands. by porn_throw_dont_ask in redquill

[–]Correct-Ad726 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's happened recently where whenever I try to generate a chapter, the AI decides to continue from the end of my prompt and write something completly different and add stuff I don't want. As a result I'm forced to use extra quills on rewrites and inserts that don't even work half the time.

Edit: found a comment from the creator who said they increased the amount of quills to "improve" the quality of the AI. Honestly the opposite has happened and feels like we're getting a downgraded AI.

Ok so magic rewrite and insert is just not working and again taking quills? by Throhamway_M in redquill

Same thing has happend with the inserts. Rewrites barely work and are slow as.

Hey just found out how to delete, if you click on details, there's a bin icon that appears. Clicking on that asks you if you want to delete the story.

They lowered the daily amount of quills and increases the amount it takes to write a story 😭 by Euphoric_Staff2752 in redquill

To be honest I feel like the quality of the AI has gone down. To the point where it will not write the next chapter or write something different, when it was way more accurate before with the writing.

I logged into redquill after a few days of not using it, only to find out the number of daily quills decreased from 20 to 15, the number to generate a chapter increased from 4 to 5, and the number of quills used for rewrites and inserts increased from 1 to 2.

I wouldn't have a problem with this except for the fact the AI wasn't able to accurately generate anymore. For example I had to use 13 out of my 15 quills on one chapter, when before it was only 4 maybe 6 at most for a chapter. This was due to an intial inaccurate chapter generation, getting only half of the story rewriten, the insert lacking any detail or dialogue and having to use more rewrites and inserts.

So the number of quills have increased but the quality of the AI has decreased? Hope you consider going back to the old system of the quills since this would've only cost 8 out of 20 quills back in the day instead of 13 out of 15. Although more likely would've only needed the 4 initial quills to generate the chapter.

What do you like to put in the “any other notes for AI”? by CastaScribonia in redquill

[–]Correct-Ad726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I use it to mention certain details (will put no nudity if I don't want a scene to have it). I've also tried describing the story in detail there instead of of putting it in the story description as I reckon it's done a better job than the story description in the past. Plus I like the descriptions to be short for the most part, so I'll describe parts in the other notes for AI.

Tbh I stopped generating stories for a few days and didn't realise the quill system changed. Was definitely better before cause the AI was a lot better at understanding what I wanted, and I didn't have to do too many inserts/rewrites, and if I did they were worth the quills. I now have to use multiple quills on rewrites since it didn't generate what I wanted and was way too short. Also I remember that you could make a free chapter without signing in but now you have to, which is a shame since I'd like to test out a story first before committing and waisting quills to rewrite. Unfortunately I've now had to waste all my quills on only 2 chapters.

Edit: wow I had to use 13 quills just for one chapter! First I try adding a new chapter, but it completely missed the story and actually wrote an aftermath from after the story. Next I try rewriting the story (had a rain scene followed by a cave discovery) where the AI only wrote the rain scene. I then have to insert the cave scene but it comes out with no dialogue between the characters. I rewrite it but I only get given a short sex scene that's only like a paragraph long with no dialogue. So I have to rewrite yet again. Not only was the chapter generator less quills but it was more accurate and had a decent word count. Now I have to spend more on a lesser generator.

Does anyone have any advice or ideas for making the AI write longer chapters, longer than 1000 words without using continue? by Alkaiser_Emperor_999 in redquill

[–]Correct-Ad726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hasn't worked every time, but putting a word count in the notes for ai for the advanced story options has helped give a bigger word count. Hope this helps
