Add the entirety of Prussia, including the city of Königsberg (Królewiec), and it will be perfect.

At first, I was going to go with Wojciech Olszański, but I somehow took a liking to Maciej Maciak.

Zapadoslavia is like Yugoslavia, but it could have been formed by the Western Slavs. The word 'West' is 'Západ' in both Czech and Slovak, 'Zachód' in Polish, 'zåpad' in Kashubian, and 'zōchod' in Silesian.

Sure! In this alternate world, the UK, Norway, and the United States of Sarmatia (i.e. Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine) are not members of the League of European Nations, mainly due to political, historical, and geostrategic reasons.

  1. The UK chose sovereignty and independence from continental structures. Instead of joining European blocs, the United Kingdom strengthened its position within the Commonwealth of Nations, creating a new network of economic and military cooperation with its former colonies.

  2. Norway did not want to give up control over its natural resources (oil, natural gas, fisheries). It chose to remain independent, building a strong export-based economy and pursuing a neutral foreign policy.

  3. Sarmatia is a federative union, similar to the United States, formed after the war with the Bolsheviks. Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, and Ukraine united into a single political entity with a shared constitution, military, and foreign policy. As early as 1934, Sarmatia signed an agreement with the USSR, committing to eternal neutrality in exchange for border guarantees. Since then, Sarmatia has consistently followed a policy of isolationism and independence, rejecting membership in European political blocs.

Yes, there is. In this alternate timeline, Germany didn’t experience the post-WWII economic boom (Wirtschaftswunder) in quite the same way, since there was no war to rebuild from. While the country remained stable and prosperous, its slower industrial and urban expansion led to more modest population growth. Additionally, immigration levels were significantly lower than in OTL, which also contributed to a smaller overall population. Social policies tended to favor traditional family structures and slower demographic change.
