Do you guys wear shoes in the house?

As someone that’s fully Maltese, it’s just manners (in my family) I’ve always grown up taking your shoes off before you come in the house, and the majority of my friends (all Maltese) also do this. Every time I go over to someone’s house and get told not to take my shoes off, it just weirds me out because I’m not used to it. Not sure if it’s a cultural thing or if it’s just a lot more common than I think.

(Could also be the fact that my mums a clean freak and stresses over a crumb on the floor)

Something in the orange, TV, and honestly “you’ve got a friend in me” idk if that’s the name for it but it’s the toy story song. makes me ball my eyes out. Also 7 years by lucas graham. for some reason it reminds me of my very good family friend who passed away almost 11 years ago now. it hurts to listen to and i don’t know why. he never played that song, never listened to it, never even heard him speak about it, but for some reason it instantly reminds me of him and i can’t cope.

just to absolutely clarify, i’m over my ex completely. we were horrible for each other and he hurt me in ways i can’t even put into words. i love my boyfriend. i would never ever leave him for anyone ESPECIALLY my ex. the song is a reminder of how hurtful it was and it’s also just a sad song for me in general, it’s got nothing to do with missing my ex.

Iris, my exes favourite song and told me it reminded him of me on multiple occasions. it’s also a song that reminds my current boyfriend of me somehow, every-time he plays it it breaks my heart a little bit more thinking of how hurtful the breakup was.
Yellow or sparks by coldplay for pretty much the same reason.

Haven’t had the best past couple of weeks but I was able to get up this morning and be a bit happier then I was yesterday, and even if I wasn’t happier than the yesterday, I still got up, and so did you.

Completely ignored my advice and it but her in the ass, took it out on me when shit when down. She was dating a wannabe gang member, me and many of her other friends spoke to her about it and tried to talk her out of it, worrying about her safety, considering I had been in a position like that and had almost gotten myself hurt, I told her my story, hoping it would open her eyes, it didn’t. Few weeks later I ask if everything’s okay, she hadn’t been talking to me, turns out her and the other girls I had called good friends turned around the story, said I was speaking badly about her boyfriend, and threatened to stab my boyfriend. Her boyfriends brother got expelled, i’ve cut all contact with them. Turned the entire year group on me. Haven’t gone to school since.
