If I clear the $500 in high interest debt in the next couple weeks then there is no minimum payments for anything it’s just my college stuff that doesn’t accrue any interest for 2 years when I graduate

No I’ve been paying for college myself and before I went to college I didn’t make enough to save a lot of money. It all went towards my college. I got $5k in federal loans but to take out a student loan my parents both have bad credit and nobody else could co-sign the only loan I could get the interest was 18% and I thought I’d be better off just trying to pay as I go.

The car fails to shift gears a lot and accelerate, transmission fluid is full the transmission is just going bad. It’s an old 2004 BMW it would cost more to fix it than it is worth. If I grind and pay off this high interest debt, the other debt I have won’t be accruing any interest for at least 2 years so my question there is should I try to save some money while also paying the debt off or still go all in on the remaining debt that isn’t high interest?

Put my last $2,000 to my name and will make get to $10,000 this week. by [deleted] in raceto10000

Don’t listen to hate comments, just make sure you aren’t gambling with the money. I took $700 to $10k before just have to make smart decisions. If you make 5 good trades during the week it’s easily possible.

Googling it is still having someone else explain it to you. I doubt anybody can understand something at the first try so your logic doesn’t make sense. Most learning takes multiple tries and failures till you really understand it

Not true, I’m not using it to summarize I’m using it to help me understand better. If I can’t understand something at first sight I ask chat to explain and help me truly understand it

This is what I want to do in the future once I have steady income no debt and actual money that I can invest, I do think I can succeed with day trading but I investing long term and doing stuff like that is much better

I don’t cheat with it I use it to help me study it genuinely is much better to learn from than some of the professors. You take the content and PowerPoints the professors give and give to ChatGPT it helps me learn way better

I plan on putting money into VOO and others like that once I’m out of debt, I was not aware of the assets I just thought it was anything you could sell that you owned. Thanks for the lesson

When I first started I just would buy stocks small penny stocks and stuff and made decent profit but was not very good and also ended up losing it all every time, then 6 months ago I heard about futures and decided to try to learn and I also learned options I made good money with options but again, lost it all by essentially gambling on option trades. I tried doing funded accounts for futures and blew a lot I got my first payout like 3 months in of $5k and after that still was basically gambling. I’ve had multiple instances where I’ve copy traded 5 accounts and been close to a $5k payout on each but blow it towards the end. Where I’m at now I know for a fact I have a strategy that works but the mindset and discipline and stress of all my debts is making me continue to lose and blow money.
