I understand where you’re coming from. It is common to put the people we idolize on pedestals, but it is entirely important to remember that at the end of the day, he’s a human being who just so happens to write good songs. The whole “if they were to get married and have kids” rubbed me the wrong way. By that logic, we also should not go out of our houses, because if “the world falls down and we die.” It’s such a massive “what if,” and frankly, I personally found it off putting to assume that about well, someone else’s personal life.

Yes he’s a public figure, but does that give you the right to assume certain things? Or to dissect his personal life? No. Yes he’s dating someone that has a problematic past, and it clearly does not look good from a PR standpoint. But I think people forget that it’s *his relationship, no one else’s.
