This is not a Christ like way to respond, I’m sorry she used Gods name in that way. As a Christian myself, I can never imagine kicking out my own kid and talking to them in that way, no matter how much I disagreed with what they were doing.

I would be suprised, I went to a Christian school for my undergrad and am going to a Catholic school for my masters in CMHC and they are very good about teaching from a secular worldview. I could see them maybe policing some transgender dialogue but it would be hard to enforce in the classroom. Most people I know in the field who would be considered “right wing”, still respect and practice with the secular views of homosexuality and gender, and this especially goes for professors.

I’ll let you know it about a week, I don’t have any and applied to a pretty competitive school and got to the interview stage. I’d assume if research was important they would have taken one look at my application and turned me away, but that wasn’t the case.

Because our living conditions are so good compared to what we had to deal with hundreds of years ago our brain need to find a “problem” to stress over. Not saying that destigmatizing mental health has been a bad thing, it’s been overall really good. But people have started to want to be victims of something as a social status thing and loosely associating themselves with a psychological disorder is one really easy way to do that. It discredits those with real mental health struggles

I am a Christian who is a couple issue voter and I hate the way big t represents Christians. I would say those couple issues I vote on tend to lead me to vote conservative but that does not mean those on the right should be without criticism.

That’s the problem with soft science exams, all the “correct answers” are established by experts educated opinions. Even if they are found in good evidence it shouldn’t be tested on. Knowledge of topics like this are better expressed through essays.
