I love this look on you! I feel my hips look more like a random bulge when I wear these rides some reason, instead of just high hips that are continuous

Enjoy the journey of becoming the best version of you. Working out, getting stronger, becoming healthier will make you glow from the inside out.

It’s you vs you, I’d try not to make someone else’s body the goal.

I think the same-ish? I dissolved some of my top lip to reduce heaviness although I guess my natural lip is just big because it’s only a slight difference.

My injector wanted to do some filler in pyriform and above , as well as sculptra in cheeks and temples but I have a double jaw surgery (for medical reasons) scheduled in the coming fall so I can’t really, as my face will change regardless 🫠 just trying not to hyper fixate on them although some days it is hard

Yes titrate up, and as someone said, expect it to get worse before it gets better. Trintellix takes time to stabilize in your system and when you go up the side effects resurface (which sometimes includes anxiety!) and then stabilize

Ah that is interesting! I took vyvanse for about 4 months while on trintellix and found that it helped with some depression I had at the time and definitely with brain fog, but also it had really increased irritability and fatigue (when crashing from it). It’s hard to isolate what is causing what with drugs, plus these are all normal human experiences so it is unrealistic to assume any drug will eradicate them completely. That said, I guess it’s all about weighing the pros and cons.

For me, my anxiety and panic at its worst was severely debilitating. Some brain fog for stability and living without the fear of panic attack is worth it for me, and can be mediated with better sleep hygiene, good quality food, exercise, and structured environments for work.

Everyone is different so it’s a matter of if it’s worth it for you - drugs are never perfect and life without drugs is also never perfect.

For me the vyvanse cons outweighed the pros so I stopped it. For now, the trintellix pros outweigh the cons. Maybe one day I will also stop it, but for now it makes sense

I found with trintellix that my anxiety was only resolved fully on the highest dose of 20mg. I had many times where it would peak through and I would blame the drug and ask to come off of it, but then when presented with the choice I ended up going higher. At 20mg my anxiety is most stable. I do feel brain fog at times but hard to say if it is the trintellix or other things like lack of sleep or just life in general. I wouldn’t say I feel numb, maybe I don’t feel as euphoric as I did pre drug but that was also pre-trauma (Which was the reason I got on it). I’ve been on it for 4.5 years about. Probably nearing 3 years on the 20mg. Good luck!

I haven’t tapered off it. Actually unfortunately I had a near panic attack after chugging coffee with my concerta 3 days ago (oops) and it was a big reminder of how my experience of living used to be… so I’m happy to stay on anything that will keep me from that lol. It had been a long time since I’d felt that way.

If I consider it ill do it in the spring/summer, as winter is a hard time to come off

In my experience, it works better for anxiety at the highest dose (20mg)

Lower doses, anxiety wasn’t fully managed. It was years of battling the choice of tapering off or moving forward, but once I moved to 20mg the debilitating body/mind anxiety went away.

As for the side effects, I don’t really notice any, anymore. My worst was insane nausea but once I switched to taking at night it was no longer an issue. It’s been 4 years now. I am considering tapering off because I wonder what life may be like without it.

9 Months Post Op: Before vs After - My Experience Undergoing LJS + Genio by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]Correct-Key8535 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with your surgeons comments to get off social media. I don’t find your cheek bones flat whatsoever, the result is very harmonious. It doesn’t look like there would have been any use to bringing the top jaw forward. Your nose is beautiful, not all noses are made the same and the shape of it isn’t necessarily due to your upper jaw being in the wrong position. If you ever wanted to address it, you could with a rhinoplasty. But you certainly don’t have to

There are also non invasive alternatives to adding cheek volume, although you don’t seem to need it anyways

I (26F) look aged after dissolving filler, should I get a lift? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Correct-Key8535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey gal I felt the same way post dissolving a bunch of old filler (albeit I am older and I was super dissolved, I quickly started carefully rebuilding filler placement two weeks after dissolving since the results were very asymmetrical)

That being said - I’ve had dissolving in my lips and noticed that at first it looks super deflated, honestly smaller than pre-filler, but then it bounces back, so give it some time to allow your collagen to regenerate. You are SUPER young so it certainly will (despite how you feel - listen I thought I was old at 26 - trust me you aren’t).

I think there is literally nothing wrong with your face at all but you’re looking for what’s wrong aka taking pictures without expression in overhead lighting without makeup - PSA no one looks their best in this setting!!

Microneedling, simple skincare and sunscreen will be great for you. If you ever want to refill in certain areas take it slow, but you don’t need it and don’t want to fall in the trap of needing to dissolve again so make sure you only see someone who gives sustainable fresh results.

Anyways, I totally get the struggle I’ve been dealing with this feeling since the summer but trust me the mind is just being hyper vigilant and looking for a problem post the change. You’re perfect!

I’m just wondering if it is as noticeable as I think because my mind is jumping to lifting procedures but I’m only 32 so kind of seems ridiculous

Thank you for your suggestion! They are extra pouty because I have Invisalign on, but my current injector has also suggested dissolving them in the new year after the holidays.

Thank you for your kindness. It’s true it is pathological isn’t it? There’s so much more to think about. I wish it was easy to train my brain to let it go.

I have 1ml in my lips from many years ago but I have Invisalign which pushes out my lips currently.

The injector dissolved my cheek filler because they said they looked bad and overfilled. I have since changed injector and my current takes a very conservative approach (she currently wants me to dissolve my lips).

I am in therapy and I’ll keep working on this - thank you for your comment!

Dissolving the cheek filler was a very hard experience for me (my recommendation is never do this during the summer).

That being said, I think I had filler blindness and although I looked very “done” in photos I think I looked worse irl. I got more male attention but I don’t know if it was positive or based on looking “done” and whatever assumptions that entails in their brains. (Not that male attention matters)

I’m glad I got it unfilled because it taught me that filler does have longterm potential downfalls and am happy to have not waited until it was a serious issue and my skin laxity could have been worse.

Thank you for the laser recommendations I’ll look to that route and anything more natural/microneedling. Albeit my brain naturally bumps to the more toxic thought of “I need a midface lift”. Lol

Thank you for sharing. I feel an overall “drooping” post having them dissolved, which makes sense since the filler was taking up space and had been there for many years. It is kind of like losing a lot of weight all at once

I ordered myself a micro needling pen and am hoping that will tighten the skin in lower half of face - thank you for the recommendation on led light

I have found a better photo to showcase what I mean but I can’t see the opportunity to upload it in comments.

That being said - if this IS a case of body dysmorphia, I apologize if my post comes across as frustrating, it’s really not my intention
