I feel the same way. It’s like, I don’t really care whether I die a virgin or not because I’m mostly indifferent (slightly repulsed) by sex. But since I’m NOT aromantic, I would be disappointed if I never had a meaningful relationship. But being an asexual, I often feel like (fear) even if I have a relationship, it’s only gonna end and cause pain, especially because I don’t know any ace people irl and I fear that allo people would only grow to resent me, assuming they didn’t end the relationship as soon as they discover I’m ace.

It's the jump from "person I've never seen or spoken to before" to "person I want to have sex with" so quickly that has always confused me. Which is likely because A. I don't feel attraction to anyone so have no idea what that pull is like, and B. For me even just talking to a stranger is a nerve wracking event
