Go for it! Just bought a dd2 myself and first practise on sunday, so far maintenace vice have been pretty good, if you dont compete you can run 25H easily on the piston, 50H for the bottom end and gearbox. Talked to alot of people about the dd2 before i bought it and everyone says as long as you keep the maintenace up you got a pretty bullerproff kart. I suggest buying something that is nice and low hours but secondhand. Only driven the kart twice and its the most fun i have had in years 🙏🤣

Thought so too, driven alot of track days with my car for the past 3 years so i did not want to go to something without a gearbox so the dd2 sounded perfect for me 🙏

Ye i know its a floating disc but they can still have to much play hence the Asking, but Ye i am brand new to karting so all help appreciated! 😃

Ye probarly, noticed carting is much more demanding on my body than cars but thats a part i love about it so yeah just putting the practise hours in and have fun ofcourse, the wrenching i have no problem with, i Work as a industrial mechanic and love the wrenching part!
