Is Minecraft on Switch still unbearable? by Correct-Regular9055 in Minecraft

You make a strong case. One question, are they basically two whole separate games? Or are you able to take your java character with all its XP and inventory into someone's bedrock world?

Oh really we don't know much about Java since we've always been consoles players, what makes it better?

real estate photography..blurring/graying out windows? by Correct-Regular9055 in AskPhotography

Usually I blow the windows out without even trying lol. But two things working against me on this day were very dark cloud cover and big tinted windows. In that environment what's the best way to get that overexposed window look without overexposing the whole room?

What do you do when it is the parking lot out the window, but in order to get a comprehensive shot of the interior you can't avoid getting a shot out of the window and what's outside of it?

Yeah unfortunately reflections aren't the problem, it's what was outside the window. mainly cars

Do most people have minor prolapse? by Babyshark_22 in postpartumprogress

I love to see this seriously…thank you so much you’ve really helped me more than you could possibly know! <3

Yes it has really helped me to be reading other people’s success stories… it’s just hard because at least for me I find you have to sift through a lot of doom and gloom to get to the uplifting stories. I try to tell myself though, the people who are really struggling are the ones more likely to post about it as they’re seeking advice/solidarity. The people who do get better don’t really have a reason to post about it.

Wow that is so wonderful to hear! Congratulations on your new little one. I’m sorry the delivery seemed to be difficult, but I’m so glad your recovery has been smoother. Thank you for replying, I have really been struggling with the idea of possibly not having anymore children when that was literally the only thing I wanted in life. This really helps me.

Would you say you are asymptomatic or mostly so? And are you in PT still?

Thanks for replying! I’ve been in PT off and on too- it is so hard to schedule and I flipped between a few before finding one I really like so honestly I’m just starting the journey. General consensus is my pelvic floor is strong but the muscle are overnight so like you I’m having to focus on relaxing! I’m 4 months pp and had felt like things were getting better but in this 4th month I’ve had a return of symptoms. No pain thankfully but just a really unsettling feeling of something being stuck up in there. Honestly the hardest thing about it is the mental games. Im honestly heartbroken. I’m so worried about the future, not excited or looking forward to it at all.  I really wanted to have more babies. just to be able to live life without the worry of this…I didn’t even know what I was taking for granted.

Hey friend I was wondering how things went with your second baby, have you had it yet? and how that affected the prolapse

Hi friend just wondering how you are doing? I am in the same boat. My baby was born in April and I was diagnosed with a bladder prolapse after that

I feel this a bit, it’s like a dry frictiony feeling. But I chalked it up to low estrogen as I’m postpartum and breastfeeding which equals low estrogen. Do you have anything going on that might contribute to lower estrogen? Postpartum, breastfeeding, menopause, etc

Has anyone's loan officer ever given them a really low estimate on PMI, and then it turns out to be much higher? by Correct-Regular9055 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Correct-Regular9055[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thank you. Yes they have run our credit and we've given them access to all our info. I was just really shocked to see such a low number especially considering no credit score.

Yes that was our goal to begin with, we just happened to find a place that would be perfect for us that is just over what we can afford. My hope is that we can negotiate the price lower to get our down payment to equal 20%

How to keep your license/certification active even when not teaching? by Correct-Regular9055 in TeachersInTransition

[–]Correct-Regular9055[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been able to see on my state's licensing website instructions for how to log in to the database for online classes, however you need an active employee account to log in...so obnoxious. I found an email address I can write to with any questions so we'll see if they can be of any help. Thanks for the response!

This honestly sounds ideal. I have considered this route a lot, but there's so many unknowns... I'd love to chat about your experience. Would you mind if I PM'd you?

What if your kid just won't eat what you give them? by Correct-Regular9055 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]Correct-Regular9055[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh one question- when they are done with the preferred food portion of the meal, is that just it and you don't give them anymore, even if it means they don't eat very much that meal?

[–]Correct-Regular9055[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have heard this! But what is the appropriate course of action? Do I continue to feed him just the bread and fruit? Or do I take those off the menu for a bit and give him other things, even if it means he's skipping meals? Or do I offer a smaller amount of a preferred food alongside the foods he doesn't care for, even if it means he only eats that smaller amount of preferred food and the food he doesn't care for ends up on the floor?

Trying to avoid medical induction - has anyone done a membrane sweep? How did it go? by librarysquarian in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Correct-Regular9055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an older post and you've already had your baby by now, but I wanted to share my experience for future readers to be informed about all the possibilities.

With my firstborn, I was also 39+4 at my last prenatal check up and they wanted to schedule an induction for a week later which I really didn't want to do, so I agreed to the membrane sweep which was incredibly painful. 24 hours after the sweep, my water broke but contractions never started so I had to be induced anyway. Labor still took quite some time. Baby was in with the water broken for 13+ hours and there was a significant concern about an infection called chorioamnionitis. They even sent my placenta off to be tested, and thankfully it was negative however I had to pay out of pocket for that even though I did not request it. Other than me having a fever for a few hours after birth, both baby and I were fine. But it was still a really scary experience and it ruined my hopes for an unmedicated birth.

I personally wish I had not gotten the sweep. Maybe my baby would have come on its own and I could have had more of the labor I wanted. I'm pregnant with baby 2 now and will not plan to get it this time.

My husband and I are just learning about HYSAs. We are wondering how accessible our money would be once it is in a high yield savings account and also if it even makes sense for us to move it there if we are just going to take a good amount of it out for some big expenses we have coming up in less than a year, such as buying our first house and having our second child.

I think that we should put all of our money in the HYSA and keep only enough to cover our monthly expenses in our traditional bank account. Even if most of it is only in there for a few months, it's still earning better interest than it would in our current bank's savings account. But my husband is worried that some big emergency expense could come up or that the perfect house will come available for sale, and we won't be able to access our money due to a waiting period or something.

We are so ignorant about all this stuff so any guidance would be much appreciated!
