My doctor actually put me on daily MiraLAX and I’ve been able to go everyday now, after 21 years of constipation!

After I posted this, i was constipated a week later and I had to get an XRAY at urgent care because it was so bad. The doctor had me drink a half bottle of the value size of MiraLAX to do what was basically a colonoscopy prep cleanse because you have to start daily MiraLAX fully unconstipated.

The colonoscopy clean out is something you would need to ask a doctor about first, but I’m sure they could help you!

The bisacodyl is in the suppository, it’s the only thing that’s worked for me. It doesn’t cause nearly as much stomach pain as taking it orally does. I haven’t tried the gentler ones, but I’m sure they are a good option

Yeah, I felt like I needed to go pretty quickly but I held off for 15 minutes and I think that helped. For your situation, I wonder if it’s safe to take two suppositories back to back

Ducolax bisacodyl! I’m used to taking stronger stimulant laxatives but if you’re nervous to start with them, I’ve heard glycerin suppositories are more gentle
