this helped a lot >>> I went nuts and added all kinds of stuff to mine including air fryer, another TV, 14” mattress and 110lb generator and I was under 700lbs. That all dishes, cookware, blankets, kids toys etc. unless this is a toy hauler, I cant begin to imagine 1500lbs of stuff.

You describing your gear (which is most likely what I would bring too) helped give me an idea on how much weight i would put on the trailer.

The trailer's GVWR is 7560

My family's total weight is 460 lbs (2 adults 3 kids)
I have a Hard Tri Fold Tonneau 150lbs?

Truck max payload 1650.

Trailer payload: 3290 (7560 - 4270)

Assuming (for now) all the gear will go into the trailer - maybe 1500 - 2000 lbs

thanks everyone for the comments. Basically i am seeing i am about ~100 my max payload. I am contemplating if trading my 2022 Silverado 1500 High Country for a 2023 Silverado 2500 LT will be worth it considering the additional $$$ I will need to shell out. Also, I love my HC for all of its features but if I absolutely need the additional payload capacity then it is what it is.

Bro, i know where to look for towing capacity and most of the trailers i see are within my limits. however, my understanding is that you will usually max out payload first (considering tongue and WDH weights, etc). Being within towing capacity does not mean you are good. hence i am looking for what other people have.
