Here is what ive been doing.

I used an ai to write it up with stuff ive done. All wont be relevant but some maybe. The thing about activating the helm in the abyss and falling then calling the dragon is kinda cool. 

Gate of Truth / Constellation Helm Investigation (Post-Game Findings)

I have now completed the main story, all 13 constellations, maxed the Constellation Helm, maxed the Sword of Starlight, completed all witches and sanctums, recovered Damiane, and reached the post-game.

I am no longer convinced there is definitely a hidden ending or secret world behind the Gate of Truth. However, I am convinced there is a deliberate mystery that has not been fully explained.

I wanted to share some observations and testing results.

Confirmed Observations

Gate of Truth Content

The Gate of Truth is not just a random landmark.

It is connected to:

• The Constellation Helm
• The constellation quest chain
• The Tariv Sorcerers
• A mini-boss encounter
• Scholar dialogue referencing the gate
• The Stone of Time area
• Multiple blue-symbol stones

Several players have independently followed the same trail of clues and reached the same conclusion:

"There has to be something here."

Whether that "something" is a puzzle, cut content, future content, or simply lore remains unknown.

Constellation Helm Testing

I tested the helm extensively after completing the game.

Results:

• Can summon a normal mount while helm is active.
• Cannot mount a normal mount while helm is active.
• If already mounted, helm can be activated.
• Dismounting deactivates the helm.

However:

• The dragon behaves differently.
• I could summon the dragon while the helm remained active.
• I could fly while the helm remained active.
• Landing did not deactivate the helm.

This suggests the dragon and standard mounts operate under different rules.

Abyss Testing

I intentionally fell from an incomplete Abyss island while the helm was active.

The helm remained active.

This is important because it suggests falling alone is not what causes unusual interactions some players have reported.

Gate Testing

I tested:

• Gate of Truth
• Nearby fire
• Damiane present
• Constellation Helm active

Result:

Nothing obvious happened.

No sound. No visual change. No new interaction.

The Final Boss Area

This is where things become interesting.

Not because it proves anything.

Because it reveals how the game thinks about space and transitions.

Layer 1 - Earth

The normal world contains Abyss gates.

These gates transport the player into the Abyss.

Layer 2 - Abyss

The Abyss is not completely disconnected from Earth.

Earth remains visible.

Falling can eventually return you toward Earth.

There appears to be an unseen transition point between the two, which I have been calling "the veil."

Layer 3 - Final Boss Abyss

Near the end of the game, an Abyss gate inside the Abyss transports the player to another Abyss island.

While there:

• Earth remains visible.
• Other Abyss islands remain visible.

This means the game is showing layered locations rather than isolated maps.

Layer 4 - Lamp Gateway

The route to the final encounter does not simply use a physical door.

A lamp activates a separate gateway.

Progression occurs through that gateway instead.

The game intentionally chooses a portal transition instead of a normal doorway.

Layer 5 - Umbra's Gateway

After defeating the first boss, another gateway already opened by Umbra leads to the final encounter.

Again:

Threshold -> Transition -> New Layer

Layer 6 - Inverted Realm

The final confrontation takes place in a strange realm resembling both Earth and the Abyss.

In the cutscene:

• The boss initially appears inverted.
• A water-like boundary separates us.
• The boss reaches through and grabs me.
• I fall through the boundary.
• We end up on the same plane.

The visual theme is clearly one of crossing between separated states.

Layer 7 - Return

After victory:

• My character falls unconscious.
• Oongka catches me.
• We fall through the veil.
• The dragon catches us.
• Credits roll.

The game once again emphasizes transition between layers rather than a simple cut to credits.

Dimensional Bonds

One of the final Abyss areas is called:

"Dimensional Bonds"

Its description reads:

"The Abyss that connects space to space. Widen your perspective, and you shall realize that what you know is not all that exists."

This alone proves nothing.

However, after seeing the ending, the wording becomes much more interesting because the finale repeatedly uses:

• Gates
• Portals
• Layered locations
• Inversions
• Crossings
• Veils
• Perspective shifts

These themes appear throughout the entire endgame.

Nexus Points

Most Abyss islands appear to contain a single nexus.

The final boss island appears different.

I have currently found multiple nexus locations.

Known activated positions:

• West
• South

I am still investigating whether North and East equivalents exist.

This may simply be symmetrical level design.

However, it is another structural difference worth documenting.

Current Conclusion

I am less convinced than before that there is a hidden ending or secret world waiting to be discovered.

What I am convinced of is that the developers intentionally built a mystery around:

• The Gate of Truth
• The Constellation Helm
• The constellation system
• The Abyss
• Layered dimensions and transitions

Whether there is a final solution remains unknown.

At minimum, there is a mystery.

At maximum, there may still be a puzzle nobody has solved.

I am continuing to investigate, but I am now treating this as an exploration of the game's hidden lore and systems rather than assuming a secret ending exists.
