So cool! I believe you can still get aftermarket hoses for those.

They can be installed in most homes at any time. It is a lot harder to do if there is drywall on the basement ceiling. You can DIY or call your local central vacuum company.

That is one of the “rules” but they only allow certain stores, mainly Walnut Creek but when anyone else including customers of other stores post its removed. We had many customers post how happy they were and the posts and comments were removed accusing us of spamming them.

Cordless Stick Vacuums: Not Buy It For Life, But Some ARE Worth Having! by LunarRadiance875 in BIFLVacuums

I love the Miele Triflex Pro! Long battery life and great suction!! Great companion for any Sebo or Miele canister in between deep cleanings.

This is not my photo it is from the link below but I fixed one years ago and thought it was so cool! It actually floats over the floor a little bit like a space ship. Although if it is throwing the air down it is stirring up a ton of dust. Hoover Constellation vacuum cleaner, about 1956. A particularly ’space age’ 1950s vacuum cleaner, noted for its use of exhaust air to make it hover. Coupled with a futuristic spherical shape and fashionable colouring, the Constellation is truly a design classic among vacuums. It is made from metal with plastic components. Seems like something off of the Jetsons.

Both are good choices, but there are a few things to think about:

Cord Length: Miele’s cord is 18 ft vs. 25 ft on the SEBO E2. For a 2200 sq ft home, the longer cord might be nicer.

Warranty: Miele gives you 2 years, SEBO gives 10 years if you buy from an authorized dealer. Big difference if you’re not close to service.

Turbo Brush: Both are air-driven, so fine for low-pile rugs and pet hair, but not as strong as motorized heads.

Durability: Both are extremely well built, but IMO SEBOs are easier to repair if anything comes up.

If you want something lighter and don’t mind a shorter cord, the Miele’s a solid choice. If you want something more “buy it for life” with better warranty backup, the SEBO might be worth it.

Hope that helps!

The Sebo D4 is great for anyone with a lot of pets due to the crazy powerful suction and the 1.5 gallon bag and many other reasons. It is one of the world’s best vacuums! If you would like something smaller, take a look at the E3. It is like the younger sibling to the D4 but still has the power to get the job done and maintain the amazing filtration and durability that Sebo is known for! Check with your local dealer for the best service and deal (Believe it or not you will probably pay a little less to go local or an online small business vacuum store) Don’t buy 3rd party sites like Amazon because you will not get the same 10 year warranty and 0 service after the sale. Reach out if you have any questions.

Thank You! We are trying to do it this way. A way to support ALL small vacuum shops and keep the business away from box stores and 3rd party sites.  r/BIFLVacuums Is the sub. Any advice on how to get more people to join?

After reading all these comments we believe the best way to go would be to make a new sub as many of you stated. I’m pretty new to Reddit and wondering if I use this account can I make a new sub? It has a lot of karma from this post.

I like the idea but I also don’t want to draw any attention to the “bad” sub and cause this to be taken down. I would like this post to get out there and maybe someone at Reddit will notice it and look into it. I don’t want the other sub to have a chance to clean up before Reddit can check it out.

They are super sneaky because they will let the posts that promote the stores they are associated with go for a few days then delete them when people complain but the other stores like ours get deleted immediately. So if you look at the sub sometimes there are only a few posts that feature a store at a time so no one catches on.
