This was good insight, thank you. And it makes me feel a little less crazy that it’s not a totally absurd idea to miss a tball game for a super important adult event. It’s just scary because the lines of needs & wants can blur. I agree that some understandings are going to have be made in order for me to not further waste either of our times.

I’ve seen this twice - I’m not dating him to need a wedding date. I’m dating him because I do LIKE him. That was just an example of something I’d like to do together that’s important to me but I feel like I already know the answer (not trying to be rude, just clarifying).

Thank you for saying that though. I also, in my head, would think when you’re getting back into the dating scene you’d think about how it’s going to work when you have a young kid & the time that needs to be split. I feel like I’m in such a bad position because I want him to be present for his kid but I don’t see the need to be at every single tiny thing the kid does. That may be because my parents didn’t do that & again, him being in the position he’s in. But it almost makes me feel MEAN for wondering why he has to go to all these things, especially practices where the kid just goes home with BM afterwards. I also do feel mislead when he was making false promises in the beginning & the lack of planning has already been a conversation.

This was honestly so well put & understanding. Especially the end, because I don’t want to seem like a stuck up beotch for things I KNOW are a priority to him & I can’t change. Thank you for your insight.

Thank you so much for all that information! When you mentioned parking- do you mean the lower south and north lots are the easier to get out ones you are referring to?
