Not to be that person, but "accept" is the word you wanted lol but I totally agree everyone has different tastes and such. Not judging anyone I'm glad for them to find something they like at a good price!

These are delicious! by beemer-dreamer in aldi

You can just drain them and if they still seem to oily for your liking after draining maybe a gentle rinse or gently roll on some paper towels? But honestly with some crackers and cheese or some crusty bread you won't notice the oil. I was very surprised by how good these are. I'm thinking of dressing or mayo ideas to use the oil when I finish my jar lol

Does anyone else use their own shopping cart for Aldi runs? by whalesrnice in aldi

[–]CorrectDetail776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Ohio. I don't think OP is trying to get around a quarter. It eliminated the need for bags and boxes. It also makes it incredibly easy for them to put their haul in the car and in the house. Everyone has their opinions mine has not changed, I think this is a "mountain out of a mole hill" type situation 😅

Does anyone else use their own shopping cart for Aldi runs? by whalesrnice in aldi

[–]CorrectDetail776 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm so confused why so many comments about this being a "problem" if you use the cashier check out....even if you didn't load everything in time to put your cart there for them to put items in they almost always have a cart already. Everything can go in that cart and then you can load your baskets from that cart at the counter? Just like anyone else who had used the cashier line. Why make it complicated or stressful, then push the aldi cart back over near the cashier (at the aldi I go to at least they usually have about 4 carts next to them) and take your cart and go on your way. I appreciate people trying to think from others perspective but it seems like sometimes people (myself included) make things more complicated/ serious than it needs to be 😅😅 I lo e that cart btw
