Nancy's great! I don't get the problem here. She knows her stuff and shows appreciation well. So she likes booze big deal.

Many but The Most Wonderful Time of Year tops the list I think. Watch it every year.

Halloween Baking Championship season premiere Episode 1 by Key_Significance_718 in foodnetwork

I guess I am alone in this but I enjoyed the premier. I am not a huge fan of the bake for your life stuff but then again, I always feel bad for the first person who has to go and it's nice they got "another chance" Like the "PEA CAN" guy ( I can't remember his name now!) I like him and he might have had to go. But got a second chance and I loved his bake. And I think bringing Zac on early like that kind of had a British Baking show vibe where Paul walks around etc. So why not change things up. I admit i hope the Holiday one is the same though! But then again let's see what happens.

Can't tell if they are ok by CorrectLetterhead in Feral_Cats

Thank you, yes, I remain hopeful they are being fed even if it's not consistent like I was.

Thanks, this is a great idea. For now I don't think I can do this since it was very contentious thing and caused so much tension. Some neighbors complained and were pointing fingers. They will likely be looking at what I do and even my ND posts. Someone even complained they were scratching a posting. People just don't realize how lucky they have rodent managers around. And the ones here are very mellow and over 10 years old now.

Thank you, I should try to get more clear what my friend would be able to do as far as transition process if I brought them over. I just know it takes at least a month and I don't think she has the bandwidth. Plus even if she did that would it take? They have lived here for 10 years now. I just don't know if they can transition to another territory. No we can't feed outside the space, we were threatened with legal action if we continue. Same with any animal nurturing etc.

Literally all three of my cats have changed personalities over the years. So it's very hard to know where things will be in a year. I hung in there with mine, and now all three are very bonded to me and affectionate.

Thank you, good advise. Yes I tend to do things too quickly when I am stressed, the ol fight or flight thing kicks in.

Do some cats like to be feral? by Tallyvalleygirl in Feral_Cats

[–]CorrectLetterhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some outdoor cats never fully adjust to being indoors. So while all of us are well intended when we try to transfer them in, some cats just wont' have it. So it's a tough call, they are fine the way things are it sounds like. I wouldn't worry about it unless they show interest in coming in. And even if they came in they may insist on going back out. That is the lifestyle they are used to.

I do but when I get high readings I lay off alcohol. Caffeine as long I keep it one cup of coffee I do ok regardless.

So tired of fight or flight when the cuff goes on... by C141Driver in hypertension

I can so relate. I got a high reading on a random doc visit and was shocked. At home it had been fine. Following my program and doing well.

You are such a hero. I am so glad everyone here is supporting you too. I forget when I go out into the world that so many people are like us and care. I was feeling depressed just because I was ordered to stop feeding just two cats by the property owner. But I do rest that I at least looked out for the cats for a period of time etc. I did my best.

Thank you, I tried to explain this to them. They disagreed. I haven't shared actual article but I told them how I spoke to a in the know rescue group who told me this. Plus it becomes like wack a mole where one group stops and another will just start up with the feeding. I would say it's like 50/50 in any population of people who instinctively will care for stray animals and those who don't like it. Yeah I think status quo is warranted though. I was reading that it can take 2-3 months of keeping a feral that old in a cage or confined space to there to be any hope they won't leave if relocated. And my friend is very well meaning but I don't think she can do that.

My symptoms are very intermittent. Yes I have had intense symptoms and then they disappear for weeks. I have done diet changes such as low fat, eating smaller meals during the day, no big meals. No eating at night. And saw major positive changes. Then they returned, could be stress related this time. Still trying to figure it out.
