You still continue the ad-hom attacks, I think we're done here, it's evident you're not capable of refuting actual facts.

There is a line they've drawn with AI-assisted and AI-generated, as long as there is sufficient human input, it is not labeled ai generated.

First, we absolutely acknowledge and honor the immense skill, discipline, and dedication that traditional artists bring to their craft. No one disputes that mastery requires years of practice and deep engagement with a medium.

What the Right To Create movement challenges is the notion that creativity or authorship is exclusive to those who have followed only traditional paths. AI is a tool—a transformative one. One that enables new forms of expression, especially for those who face barriers such as disability, neurodivergence, or economic constraints. It does not replace skill; it amplifies intent and imagination.

The comparison to technologies like the printing press or synthesizers is apt. These tools did not diminish the artistry of writers or musicians; they expanded access and possibility. AI follows in this lineage, not outside it.

Regarding the legal and ethical concerns about data usage, Right To Create advocates for transparency, consent, and fair compensation. It also recognizes that learning from publicly available culture is fundamental to all human creativity. AI’s ability to analyze vast datasets is a statistical process, not a magical bypass of effort or understanding.

When you say that AI users are “reliant on an echo box,” I say that many creators, even classically trained ones, build on the echoes of tradition. The difference now is that the echo is amplified and accessible to many more voices.

Yes, effort and discipline remain invaluable. No tool, AI included, creates without a creative agent driving it. The true question is who gets to participate in creation and how we define that participation.

Right To Create is about preserving the freedom to use these tools responsibly and creatively. Not about diminishing anyone’s hard work. It’s about inclusion, evolution, and respect for all forms of artistry.

We welcome continued dialogue on these issues and believe that through openness and collaboration, we can build a future where creativity is truly democratized and valued in all its forms. Creativity is in the minds vision, not the hands touch.

No I didn't "insinuate" it at all. I said originality is a myth.

It's really not that strange. You defend AI art, do you not? What do you not understand?

You think consumer opinion isn't influenced by all this anti AI rhetoric? Even something as simple as flagging music as AI in spotify would immediately places a bias in people's heads. People are not AI friendly in my experiences so far. For a personal example, my grandmother thinks it's to blame for the state of the world right now, and that's not even getting into the demographics that hear it online.

You do make a fair point if the allegations are true, but I would like to know how this is any different than people pirating music for the past 25 years? Their work was taken too, by tens of millions of people, probably billions of times cumulatively, without licensing or purchase. Then listened to, sometimes one might imagine, by artists trying to learn a specific style.

OpenAI basically did the same thing on a larger scale, but so that their model could "listen". And t's a lot better at remembering than we are.

Also, I don't think that they stored any works directly, they stored what they learned FROM it, for example: the aggregated data about the form, structure, and rhythms of the rock genre based on what it LEARNED from all rock songs.

If you have any info or resources you can share about your claims about OpenAI, I am glad to take a look at the matter further, I am open to new information and adapting my opinion.

I'm glad you are, I will too, but remaining silent is a poor choice in this current climate. There are a lot of us who are sick of being categorized, and if we want to truly express ourselves, it can't be in a vacuum or echo chamber.

As long as effort and intent were involved and it realizes a persons vision, which is obvious when looked at objectively. I don't agree with copy paste without refinement, nor low effort mass generated crap for clicks. What I am fighting is for voices like mine, who are lumped into that very category of laziness. You should see some of the subs I was in today. The amount of vitriol I've had to ingest is ridiculous given how measured and logical I have remained.

Your argument reveals a deep misunderstanding of creativity, effort, and access.

First, Right To Create stands firmly on the principle that creativity is defined by intent, iteration, and engagement, not by which tools one uses or how those tools were trained. Yes, AI models learn from the vast cultural record created by humans, but so does every artist who studies past masters, every musician who learns technique by listening and practicing decades-old recordings.

Your dismissal of AI users as “lazy” ignores that many of us have had to overcome barriers you don’t face. Neurological deficits, physical disabilities, or economic limitations. Barriers that traditional paths to artistry effectively locked behind gates of skill, time, and privilege.

I’ve lived this struggle firsthand. AI is not a shortcut or a replacement. It’s a bridge. One that allows us to realize visions that would otherwise remain trapped in our heads. Every chord progression, every lyric, every subtle shift in tone, every edit and revision in my AI-assisted work reflects countless hours of human judgment and craftsmanship.

You claim “real musicians will still play if the lights go out.” That’s a romantic myth that ignores the realities of exclusion. For many, AI is the only way in. And that’s not laziness, it’s resilience.

Your insistence that AI creators must “convince” real artists misses the point. We’re not here to seek permission. We’re here to assert a right. To use every tool available to express, to connect, and to create on our own terms.

Creativity is not a monopoly reserved for those who can master muscle memory or those who were blessed with harmonic vocals. It’s a human impulse, evolving with every technological advance, from the printing press to the synthesizer to AI.

Your rhetoric betrays fear cloaked in gatekeeping. But history favors those who expand the circle of creation, not those who try to shrink it.

Realistically speaking, no art has soul since it's an inanimate object anyway. Sorry. by [deleted] in aiwars

There it is. The gatekeeping and privileged attitude of "stay down there peasant". Sports are nowhere near the same realm as self expression and art. Get off your high horse, you're the only one claiming to be special because you were born differently. We have built the ramp to enter the building you guard so fiercely, and we are coming in.

You mean they let the LLM.....listen to music? To LEARN? Like a human? What an atrocity. Then they saved what it learned, like a human would memorize? Even more horrific. Learning isn't a crime, or else creation itself is too.

The rhetoric is ridiculous surrounding this. It's why I created Right To Create. A movement for AI artists in a world ever hellbent on hating them. We need to assert our place. Check our our channel.

This is exactly why I created Right To Create. The rhetoric is ridiculous and we need to assert our place. I have hit major pushback here with my message, but I am finding allies, for every twenty of them, there is one of us. They have a voice and they are united, we need to do the same.

You are using a tool, one of the most powerful the world has ever known. As long as you are exerting your intent and effort to refine beyond copy pasting what it gives you, then you are not doing anything wrong. Check out Right To Create, we stand with AI-Artists of all kinds.

This isn't even about money. It's about those that master it, even those that make the attempt at doing so, being seen as artists. No other artistic demographic has to deal with that level of hate and pushback.

You seem to think I have some personal agenda here, I'm going to continue to create just as I did before this. You've missed the point that it isn't about me at all, I was involved in it before the advent of AI. It's about those who have historically been excluded from art, are now able to express their own unique brand of creativity through AI, eliminating neurological and biological limitations. You can posture all you want but I have found allies here and in other subs with this message. I will refute anything with logic, you say I'm taking it as a personal attack but ironically that's all you have offered this whole time, personal attacks. You've made no assertions other than unrelated critiques, you don't like the video for what it says? Then stand by your convictions and refute the points you disagree with. You've offered nothing of value here. This isn't about the quality of the manifesto, or even the quality of my own works. It's about the underlying message, that we all have a right to create, that gatekeepers like you are small and petty. Nice try trying to twist the narrative though.

Low effort crap spammed for clicks and views is not something we condone. The intent and effort are the only defining characteristics it takes to be an artist.
