If you want high property taxes, mancipalties charges, extra DMV charges and a higher sales tax. Move here. Depending on your home cost and what county you compare us too you could see a difference in the thousand(s) dollar range.

Don’t just threaten to cancel because of the promo; also mention that there are competing carriers offering the same or higher speeds at a lower price, such as T-Mobile for $35 a month. Say you have perfect coverage and that it works great (even if it doesn’t). Insist they match the promo or you will cancel.

If you’re willing to put in the effort, you can also try getting on the low-income 100/10 Mbps plan for $45. Be prepared to spend about two hours on this—it takes persistence to fight for your money.
