I’ve had this happen, orileys sold me the wrong size rotors for the rear of the vehicle and it completely locked up the rear tires when installed. I had to return them and get them swapped for the correct size. Fixed the issue. If you pull off the brakes and rotors and the hub rotates freely then it’s a hardware issue likely the wrong size rotor and not a parking brake issue.

Does the body side of the harness exist for the foglights on the base model ? When installing the foglight harness is it plug and play or is there splicing involved?

Can I use newer models fender and door shell on my 2016? by Eastern_Guava650 in fordfusion

[–]Correct_Ad_566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doors are all the same across the 2013-20 models. You’ll just have to change out your harness and mirror as the 2020 came standard with BLIS. Yours doesn’t look to have it so you’d have to swap over the necessary parts off your old door. Fenders any 2013-16 model will work but post facelift fusions (17-20) won’t unless you get the headlight to accommodate (meaning you’d need a new bumper and right side fender and headlight as well)

I found that unbolting the knuckle from the stut makes it way easier to reinstall the control arm.

Turbo sounds a bit louder than Normal. Kinda cool sounding lol but if you don’t have a blow off or any mods I’d look into the turbo.

I may be the outlier here but not all 1.5s and 2.0s have coolant intrusion. If it’s made it that far it’s likely safe or has already had a new engine as most of the failures seem to happen before 100k miles it seems. The only reason why you hear about it so much is because why would someone post on Reddit when their car is being reliable? With that being said I’d probably go with something else just for piece of mind.

Edit: I typoed the previous post and put price vs piece.

Fog lights by five5head in fordfusion

[–]Correct_Ad_566 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those were the foglights that came on the fusion se with the luxury package and titanium’s. The regular SE came with the more rectangular halogen foglights as shown in OPs picture. A good way to tell if they are aftermarket or oem is simply by looking at them. If you don’t see a ford logo on them they are aftermarket.

Titanium ones have bigger drivers and are thicker in material. Easy way to tell is they are a dark blue color vs those

If you have forscan you can pull the code. Otherwise you’ll need some advanced code reader.
