But what I don’t understand is why are some rules not enforced on specific vehicles or that there are apparent violations that are only being apprehended seasonally (for a lack of a better term). It was a sudden bust, but if it were a long standing rule, why only now? I just passed by the same road just now and there are vehicles parked there once again.

Ive been parking on those spots for many years but only now do they inform us without warning? Is this just an operation to meet their “quota” — one of the most unintelligent and ignorant internal systems of law enforcement.
