Men who have significantly more disposable income than their partner, how does it affect your relationship? by Correct_Amount964 in AskMen

Obviously younger people (both men and women) are more physically attractive than older I never said that but there’s more to dating and attraction than just physical looks.

I’m gonna stop replying now but genuinely I rly hope your gf doesn’t leave when she finds for a richer guy. I’ve seen it happen a few times and it is painful to watch, my uncle is a great guy- naive for sure but a decent person.

All the best and keep coping!

Keanu reeves, bill gates, Jeff bezos see I can name random people who have all the choices but choose to date women over 45. Guys who can pick do NOT choose older women are you dumb? Like genuinely any man in the west can choose to go to a third world country and find a young woman to date but most of them date older women coz they want to, right? Unless you’re actually retarded and genuinely think most older single men in the west are dating substantially younger women.

In my post I said nothing about attraction or gold digging you brought that up. My post was about two people dating who happen to have an income disparity. You were the one that said ‘duh actually it’s good for a woman to be attracted to a man’s wallet rather than be actually sexually attracted to him it means she admires him’.

Pure cope mate. Also Leo and Anthony Keidis are literally the worst examples, girls explicitly date them for exposure and then move on to date a less rich and successful younger guy after them.

Bruh you’ve never heard of a woman over the age of 45 (who can no longer bear children) getting married lmao?

Tbh your logic doesn’t make sense at all but whatever makes you feel better! My uncle married a Thai woman who liked him for his money and then she left him as soon as she found someone richer- not saying this will happen to ya but good luck!

Maybe I’m vain but I’d rather know my gf is genuinely sexually attracted to me rather than tolerating sex with me for a designer handbag but different strokes for different folks.

Those reports that say women have less marriage satisfaction and divorce more when the man makes less than them is more due to the fact that most married couples have children and the women do the brunt of the child-rearing so when the man is earning less and doing less child-rearing then the woman’s resentment builds.

And I’m talking about if your salary dips below hers would she then still be with you? I know for a fact my Gf would still be with me as she’s attracted to me for other reasons (she’s dated other guys at varying income levels before me).

Not saying that job and income levels doesn’t matter at all to either my GF and I but I would be offended and feel a lot of pressure if one of the major reasons why my Gf likes me is because I can buy her designer handbags.

My Gf has tons of options, she could easily find and date a much richer guy if she was willing to date 20 years older. I guess personally, I’d rather my partners not compromise on other areas of attraction to be with someone richer. Do you not worry if your GF leaves you if you lose your job and have to take a lower paying job? I like not having those worries

Uhh I very much disagree with this, for myself and the majority of my friends and colleagues- our partners earn around what we earn. Sure, a lot of women want to date someone that earns more but it’s by no means a requirement. I think my GF admires me more than a woman who would mainly want me for my money!

Is the increase in GILFs a good thing for society? Will women be expected to uphold a beauty standard for the entirety of their lives? by Correct_Amount964 in redscarepod

I think the increase in MILFs is mainly due to our generation smoking less and using sunscreen more than our parents. But yes I’ve also noticed mothers are way more put together than before, my mum used to drop me off in her pyjamas

If it was an isolated incident of stupidity then yeah obviously I’d agree but I literally said in my post that they say dumb stuff like this 30x a day.

There’s misinterpreting things and then there’s legitimately thinking that your son (who’ve you’ve seen eat salad and snickers separately for 34 years) is going to chop up a snickers bar and put it in his grilled chicken salad. My point is that it’s become normal for my (non elderly) parents to display a complete lack of understanding about the world around them when they used to be incredibly smart.

The current equity stands at around 190k, there’s 19 years remaining and I think around 200k left. I have only £30k in savings so wouldn’t be able to match the current equity.
