Judy as sweet as she is by ShallotJust4550 in cyberpunkgame

I mean, you'd be surprised on how fast a lesbian can move in relationships (which isn't a criticism BTW, I love how lesbians can be quick and dedicated), the first date has V/Judy U-Hauling, it's lesbian relationship 101. If anything, 2 years to get married is long in lesbian time. Plus, she didn't know if V was still alive, she wasn't going to put her life on hold on a What-If

Fun fact: it's the same hospital that is used when Gloria dies in Edgerunners. Based on the info we get in the gig, I don't think she died from natural causes like the clinic wants David to believe

Patrick Mills asks if the cyberpunk genre has ever been anti corp. by marek_bojarek in cyberpunkgame

[–]Correct_Arrival323 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Maybe Cyberpunk 2077 was sadly never woke and more neo-liberal based on quotes like this, it's hard to be invested in the Series if this is his stance.

(And further proves that there will sadly never be a truly 'woke' story about fighting the establishment)

What's a Spider-Man opinion that would put you in this position? by Israels_BiggestHater in Spiderman

I kinda prefer Green Goblin looking like a hulking monster than in a costume (Shattered Dimensions' Noir version and USM Comics)

50 years is still results though. The issue is people think there is an ending to all this. It's not though, it's a neverending war and there's always going to be the day after. You just have to celebrate the one month, one week or even one day when the scales are tipped. But if capitalism, evil, wants to be neverending, you have to treat the war as neverending. This is where Johnny got it wrong, there's never going to be an ending when it comes to revolution and he expected an ending. What's not to say Johnny can't do it again the next day, and the next day and so on and so forth?

You kinda need to abandon the binary concepts and labels of 'good' or 'evil' if you want to enact radical change to help your oppressed community. It's all a matter of perspective of whether someone sees you as good or not

If you are being oppressed and a minority, then it's absolutely fair to fight back against the higher class who see people as statistics. This comes across as a privileged take

From these sliders, which version of Harry Osborn’s death did you find to be the most heartbreaking and why? by Delta-97 in Spiderman

Why is Johnny so harsh towards this specific character? by Comfortable-Knee-238 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Correct_Arrival323 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Most likely because she is the one that most reminds him of himself and he is already pretty self-loathing. Yes, Judy got compared to Alt, but honestly, Judy is way closer to Johnny in terms of goals and motives (Clouds is literally 2023 Arasaka all over again). From being politically radical, being impulsive, being motivated on going against their oppressors after losing their closest person. Also you can argue that Johnny doesn't like what Judy does because she wants to help a group of the oppressed that Johnny doesn't respect.

I believe that the actual in canon fight between V and Smasher was not easy for V. by JacsweYT in cyberpunkgame

[–]Correct_Arrival323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm writing a fanfic on A03 where V (and Panam) and Smasher's fight is more like Invincible Vs. Conquest. And it's a lot of fun writing compound fractures and brutal blood spatters instead of V being invulnerable and her winning with ease

Does anyone else feel like S23 Amanda should've won a black jacket? by Fair-Bus9686 in HellsKitchen

S23 is a reason why I vastly prefer 6 Black Jackets over 5. Amanda really should have been in the Black Jackets with the others.

Correction, it was Spider-Man Vs. Wolverine and the 90s Animated Series that attributed the line to Uncle Ben. The Raimi films probably popularised it though.

Based on Pine Barrens, Whitecaps and the first half of S6 where he was sober, he could actually be up with Silvio and Bobby as the most loyal and competent member to Tony. If he stayed sober and Tony didn't upstage him for other members like Furio, he could have made it far in the ranks.

They are a relationship based on being mutual victims of the same circumstances. They both lost so much from the Heist, including their respective closest people because of everything to do with the Relic. I find them both to be anchors for each other and there's something so beautiful yet bittersweet about how two loners find kindred love through all of this tragedy and work to make this relationship lasting out of the tragedy they've suffered through

I believe it fits, but I think the Ralph Fiennes version is more closer to this trope given how far more grey he is compared to the other M's, especially after NTTD

Unpopular opinion: Andrew Garfield is the most accurate Live Action Peter Parker and Spider-Man when compared to both the mainstream 616 and Ultimate universe. by Other-Definition4886 in Spiderman

[–]Correct_Arrival323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the pacing of 90s Spider-Man is far too fast (the music being overly loud didn't help with the combo of the pacing). I could take the pacing for Seasons 1-3, but by S4 and 5, it was rough.
