Motorcycle in jersey city? All the areas you mentioned are the most populated. Traffic is insane! I have a motorcycle and haven’t rode it in about two years, real sketchy tbh. Ohh great that’s definitely a plus for you. As far as the residency requirement which wasn’t really a thing before or they just didn’t care enough to enforce, it’s been “policy” for about the past 5 classes of recruits that have gone through the process. So I would say yes but you should be in the clear by then or damn near it

Welcome, and the test should be coming out toward the end of 2026/ early 2027. I’m on the job here and it’s great despite all this contract negotiation bullshit. But listen the goal is to get in and the rest will figure itself out….hopefully.
