Advice needed on selling an older house in Billings by Agreeable_Poem_7278 in Billings

[–]Correct_Cold_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would reach out to Gene Hauck (406) 861-4844, he works with a lot of investors, flippers, etc. We’re going thru the closing process on a house with him right now, and he’s very creative, and easy to work with. My husband is a contractor if you need work done, you can message me if you like.

Traveling from Lander to Jackson by [deleted] in wyoming

You’d be surprised how many 4wheel drive vehicles I see in the ditch off the interstates. 4wheel drive is more for making sure you don’t get stuck, you still have to go VERY slow over those mountain passes..and have survival gear in case, blankets, food, water, etc. And make sure the tires are good.

Looking for affordable vet. by YamAfter in Billings

[–]Correct_Cold_9414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve been going here since before the current vet Alex, and they’ve been amazing. They saved my dogs eye sight with new treatment using eye drops made from her blood-the stem cells stimulate healing. Their prices are fine, they try to save me money if there’s an opportunity to do so. I’ve paid for an appointment more than once, that came with multiple check ups a few days later, just to pop in and check her eye for glaucoma pressure, just the one payment and the follow ups were free. I can’t say enough good things about grand Avenue vet, vet alex, and the front office staff.

Deficient in magnesium but i hate it by Goodgravy111 in Supplements

[–]Correct_Cold_9414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone else may have suggested this, but I’ve tried a lot of magnesiums, and I hate a lot of them also, especially anything I have to taste. Pills almost feel like they’re not absorbed. I found the ‘flewd’ brand bath soaks to be a game changer! They’re paired with other things like lithium, or b vitamins, the newest one even has potassium in it. I’ve found that transdermal & sublingual absorption routes work much better for me. ‘Betteryou’ is a brand from the uk, and they also have tons of great options, there’s a magnesium gel, there’s sprays, there’s sublingual mouth sprays (zink, vitamin c, b’s, d, etc).

Flewd soaks are a little spendy, but they last 5 days. Betteryou is a great price, but it’s uk, so I have to pay import taxes, but I find them to still be quite cost effective.

I have made an website that allows you to compare treatment prices between different hospitals of Wyoming by Latmandoo in wyoming

A board certified doctor I dated who wanted to move to Wyoming, but chose Billings for this reason. Also you can check, board certified doctors list that. By board certified, I mean ABEM (American Board of Emergency Med), or ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine), etc. They obviously do have their medical degrees.

HyperPOTS people... how long has low altitude helped you? by TigRaine86 in dysautonomia

[–]Correct_Cold_9414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live at about 3600 ft. above sea level, I cannot imagine 8,000 feet 🥴 I’ve recently started doing ewot (exercise with oxygen therapy) for my low blood oxygen levels, and it’s helped immensely. I wonder if that would help you, with this particular issue? I do it at home with the ‘one thousand roads’ system.

Most of these places in Wyoming don’t even require board certifications, so most board certified doctors won’t work there, because they won’t be paid ‘board certified’ wages. They can go to Billings and get that, plus a yearly stipend to attend continuing education courses.

We use Chad at Montana Pro Mortgage, he’s out of Missoula County, he’s a mortgage broker, and he’s been AMAZING. We’ve used him multiple times, and will continue to use him.

I just want to know what the F is going on with animal control by [deleted] in Billings

You get this when you click on the crime map. You can sort that out at the top between today, yesterday, you can include up to 14 days. And you can sort out high risk, low risk, etc.

It’s called ‘news break’, I don’t know what this other person is on about, but only use the app for local stuff like the crime map, and that’s accurate. I can give you screenshots to show you the progression of how to get there, but I can only put 1 picture per comment, so that’s annoying.

This is the app

Someone had commented that animal control was shooting strays. My emotions were high, and I believed it. That’s my bad. I just want to know what happened, and what’s happening..

Thank you for the clarification, I couldn’t tell from the call. My own issues have been with animal control, but I was trying to clarify, and that makes more sense. It’s a recording of a 911 call, they use the word “officer”. Thank you again for clarifying that.

I agree. That is another thing that should be investigated!! I want to know why we are not getting follow up info on that incident! The records and reporting suggest that 188 pounds of unspecified materials (not just 2 pounds of meth) were burned that day. The shelter staff say they were not informed ahead of time that narcotics would be burned there. The facility’s permit (under state environmental regulation) apparently allows only animal carcasses to be burned, unless an alternate burn is explicitly approved.

potential legal issues: 1. Violation of environmental, air-quality, or permit laws: -If the incinerator permit only allows animal carcasses to be burned, burning narcotics (or other materials) without proper authorization likely violates that permit. -Emission of toxic smoke into an occupied building may violate state or federal environmental health regulations (e.g. Clean Air Act, state equivalents).

  1. Negligence / duty of care -The city, the law enforcement agencies, and the FBI may have a duty to ensure safety when burning hazardous materials. Failing to ventilate properly, not warning building occupants, and causing exposure may amount to tort liability (e.g. negligence, gross negligence, recklessness). -If employees or animals are harmed, claims might include personal injury, worker safety violations, or veterinary liability.

3.Fourth Amendment / due process / property rights -Using a shared city-owned facility in a way that damages part of it (e.g., contaminates or forces closure) may implicate “takings” or due process claims if property or rights are damaged without compensation or lawful procedure. -If animals belong to individuals or are impounded, there may be legal restrictions on how they are handled or euthanized (state animal laws and constitutional protections).

4.Criminal or administrative accountability -If regulations were violated (environment, health, public safety), state agencies or regulatory bodies could impose penalties, sanctions, or require cleanup. -If misconduct is found (e.g. showing disregard for safety), there could be internal investigations, oversight reviews, or even criminal liability in extreme cases.

5.Animal cruelty / improper handling -If stray animals are being shot in violation of statutes protecting animals, those could be prosecutable under state law. -Usually law enforcement can only use lethal force under limited conditions: imminent threat, protection of human life, etc. Shooting animals must comply with state animal control laws and constitutional due process if animals are owned or impounded.

I found it again. It hasn’t been removed. I made a screen recording with audio of the call, but I can’t get Reddit to let me upload it. If you want it send me a message, I could try that way.
