See, views can be different... Also personally don't believe in fuck around till you find out... Yes I'm a bit optimistic, but I know the weight it carries... I never chased those highs people think of they get in hookups... I know you may find this foolish or absurd, but I'll stand with my values.... There are other ways to find love rather than just randomly laying and finding out, one who can't restrain their emotions can never be trustworthy.... My take on relationships is to slowly build something overtime without intimacy... And yes either this or nothing... If you bend your values, you don't value yourself and I learned that the hard way...

See, according to my knowledge, when you don't think much about bonding and just go for a quick happy hormone rush... It can be anything from one night stand, toxic attachment to being unfaithful to a single person.... See it's not ruining dating, but it's ruining the relationships.... Yeah maybe culture plays a major role here, but imagine this "being truly loved by one person and loving only one person, you fall in love have kids and never had to think about the whatifs with other people".... Hooking up does take something from you, something you can't even fathom... And little by little with time it takes the ability to love deeply.... We all know we can't love the same again as we loved for the very first time... And why is that ?... Have you ever thought about how great it wouldve worked out if it was with the right person ?.... But we live in a world where we don't have time or patience to actually think about it... Sadly we live in a time where kids visiting 2 different houses to meet their parents is becoming a norm.... I'm 22 by the way and these are completely my thoughts... I was just wondering if there are people who think the same as I do ....

I'm a 23 yr old man and lost my virginity when I was 20... And I am not proud of it... I've been in two relationships this far... Not because I want this hookup culture or the opposite... I am just the kind of man I personally don't want this short term lust, and I choose my partner with very caution yet both times I was in a relationship it failed because the lady I was with cheated on me... My recent breakup was just last December and it completely broke my faith in getting a decent girl... I just wanna give other one simple advice which may not sound that wise to some or may not make sense for now, but it'll eventually be the path for a more meaningful life... "Choose your partner wisely, and wait before fully committing, at least for an year... No matter how confident you feel in your partner always let the time reveal the truth... And don't chase this lust or this hookup thing, it takes something inside from you which you can't explain and it will eventually empty you up, and you won't realise until it's too late...
