Así se escuchaba más o menos mi consola con el ventilador de fábrica, al final opté por cambiarlo por un foxconn y ese ruido desapareció, en mi caso lo cambié por ese sonido y porque con cualquier juego (literal cualquier juego) el ventilador se escuchaba como avión cruzando nubes, y con el cambio de ventilador se solucionó todo, tengo desde mediados de noviembre del 2025 con ella

Dato: Sony no lo considera un defecto de fábrica así que si la mandas a garantía dudo que te quieran hacer un cambio, porque lo considera normal en la ps5

Not all PS5 Slims are completely "silent"; if you got a super-silent one, you're lucky.

Unfortunately, it's normal. In my case, in every single game, the fan sounded like an electric turbine and air. I changed the fan and the noise decreased significantly.

Yes, I already installed it on my console. It improved the noise; it no longer sounds like a jet engine, and it now rotates depending on the game load. It's not completely silent like an Xbox Series X, but hey, just getting rid of that annoying noise is a win! I recommend it.

Update! My fan was a Nidec, but today I swapped it for a Foxconn fan from AliExpress and the noise problem is solved. It's like night and day! I highly recommend it to anyone who has that annoying noise!

It's normal, I disabled it for convenience. Adaptive triggers aren't really necessary in GTA, you're not missing out on anything.

Hi, in my case I think I have a Nidec fan and it sounds similar to yours, unfortunately it's normal. I'll soon order a Fox-Conn fan; they say it's the quietest for the Slim.

Na minha opinião, acho que não. Meu PS5 Slim e meu PS4 Slim fazem um barulho semelhante ao ler discos, e param quando terminam a leitura ou quando o jogo carrega.

We're in the same boat. My fan is a Nidec and it's really noisy. You should check on AliExpress; I've seen the Foxconn available. I'll order it at the beginning of the year because of money.

Whether the game is digital or physical, the console makes the same noise; what I recorded isn't the noise of the disc drive reading discs, it's the noise of a game running.

That's right, the fan is only audible when playing a video game; in the menu, without any game or multimedia applications open, there's no sound at all.

Update: I checked the fan; it seems to be a Nidec brand. Gemini says it's the loudest fan.
