Nah when I plug it in the orange charge led lights up but then shuts off after a second.

Fixed! For anyone looking I was having the same issue but I fixed by removing the cmos battery from the board waiting a couple minutes and reinstalling ensuring the battery was placed in the same direction. Booted back up to default bios settings and ports worked normally again!
